Just a little while ago. I went out this morning before it got too hot (we had an excessive heat warning posted for today) and ran a rather intense interval run. The sweat was running off me and the worst part was the salt in the eyes. Although my stride is returning quite nicely, it isn't fun running at a 7:30-8:00 /mile looking through one eye or through tears. Got to remember to take a wet cloth or sponge with me tomorrow.
When I returned home, I went into my garage and I stripped out of my dripping clothes. I got in the shower to rinse off. I took my black 4-liter bag into the shower, filled it with cool water and allowed it to flow into me while the water washed over me. The second bag was a Bronner's Lavender soap to provide a more thorough cleaning. I allowed the third bag to rinse me on the inside while the shower rinsed over me on the outside.
I had a couple of hours alone to do some house cleaning (mostly dusting and vacuuming) and so I chose to do that with an enema on board. I first inserted my latex double balloon catheter nozzle and inflated it to get it as sealed as possible. I knew the inner (distal) balloon was on its last legs as there has been a progressively weakening portion in the balloon, so I've tried to limit how much inflation I apply. I figured that my earlier cleanout would help make sure that it sealed and that I could take much of the bag. I got about 2.5 liters in when the first real contraction came to push the balloon out and the inner balloon ruptured. Not the first time that has happened to me with this style of nozzle, but it is a weird feeling. Fortunately, the nozzle didn't pop out and I was able to hold the liquid in without making a mess.
Although I have two new identical nozzles, I went and got my clear silicone DBC nozzle. After draining the enema out of me, I refilled the bag, inserted the nozzle and inflated it. I allowed the next enema to flow into me and took most of the bag. After I closed the clamp, I disconnected the hose while allowing the inflated nozzle to hold the enema within me. I then went about my task of vacuuming the carpet and dusting while holding a nearly 4-liter enema within me.
I don't know how long I held the initial volume but the activity increased the pressure to expel even though the balloons were inflated. I deflated the outer balloon and the the inner balloon only partially to release part of the enema and to reduce the held volume before re-inflating to hold a smaller quantity. A quick spray with the shower nozzle to clean up and then to dry off and I was back at the housework. Held the enema for about 30 minutes while I worked before going to release it. Nicely cleaned out and re-hydrated for tomorrow's run.
