Yes, Mom used enemas, still does in her 80s. She says she's healthier now than in many years. She gave me enemas in my mid-teens when I was sick, but they were uncomfortable (Mom was mechanical as a giver, not warm and fuzzy). Then came Angie and my “discovery” a few years later after my accident, during home nursing. Mom is a very private person. She wouldn't share such matters about herself.
