Does it really matter? Let the shops sell us deodorants for those smells we all have, the special creams that let the razor glide over the skin, the razors that are designed not to nick the delicate skin, and of course the hydrating cream that will never get rid of the wrinkles down below. Let us fill the pockets of those companies that have convinced women that the natural growth of hair is unsightly and that we need special perfumes to allow us to get through a normal day without causing offence to any one
One might wonder who is in charge, the slave or the master when entering the world of serious role play. If I were the master then I would expect my slave, after discussion regarding the scenario, to play along with what we agreed upon. I would think a slave should be shaved to show their position in the grand scheme of things. In deed, I would want to wield the razor!
But it is mentioned about Doctors having views on pubic hair or the lack of it. Before the birth of my first child I had my husband shave me to make life easier at the hospital. The nurse in charge examined me and even though I had been shaved less then a few hours previous she ordered a nurse to shave me.
Being shaved was also considered rather risqué as only nude models and prostitutes would do that. The ordinary housewife would have no need to shave. It was only in the last thirty / forty years that the deodorant, beauty and razor companies set up campaigns to suggest that pubic hair caused bad smells and other fictitious problems.
After all Ladies, you were brought up to wash, bathe, or shower and keep your bodies clean, especially the genitalia. Women never had problems keeping clean down there, even with the most outrageous growth of hair. Lets get real, remove the hair and there is nothing to soak up the sweat, so we get problems. Keep the hair and wash properly and we have no problems. Really does make sense.
Even in the seventies in the UK the general thoughts were any one wear black stockings would be a nurse or a nun or a court official, other than that, when wearing normal day clothes black stocking meant the woman was a lady of the night, or a nude model! Strange thoughts and curious advertising control the way we live our lives.
