First time you had to take off your bra for the doctor

Always had to take it right from the point I started wearing training bra. Can not really examine through it.

First time I had to take my bra off at the dr was the year I started to wear one.

I only saw a pediatrician till about 10, from then on I just saw the family dr everyone else saw.

With him it was just undress to panties and hang about waiting for him to come in so bra was never on.

It did not bother me to much really it was just the normal aspect of it.

I honestly can’t remember ever getting to keep it on at the doctor (unless I didn’t have to undress at all).

I started wearing a training bra around age 13. I still had to strip to panties at 13 and 14, and take off the bra. I remember the doctor listening to my heart while I was laying down and wishing she would check them, I already had a fetish at that age although I didn't know what it was. I didn't have my breasts examined until I was 15, and I think about that exam a lot even still. I think I had a crush on my female pediatrician.

When she did check them it was very thorough, I was on my back after the stethoscope exam but before she felt my abdomen. I remember being stethed both chest and belly, then breast exam then belly exam. It's still the order I prefer.

I was 11 and it was not a pediatric doctor as they only had them in hospital but my gp. Since we had first gone to see him, he insisted that he examined us in just a pair of knickers so the bra came off along with the rest of the clothing. I have to say it felt odd and my sister confided she felt the same.

I actually think my first exam where I had to take my bra off was a school exam.. The doctor at school wanted to see how developed we were.. I think I was around 12 or 13..

Were you examined in a group or individually? If you were examined in a group, how did you feel about being exposed in front of your classmates? What else did the doctor examine? Were you embarrassed?

About 13, first routine checkup and developmental monitoring, as always the worst part when they ask you and you have to answer while you are embarrassed, questions about pain, itching, discomfort or if you wanted to ask something

(Wrote about this before) My pediatrician gave me a breast exam at 14 or so. I didn't like it at all and put my hands up to block it. He said, “I have to do it" and proceded to continue. My mom was there too. It was awful. I was internally screaming!

I hated that my mom gave consent on my behalf, and I didn't have a choice.

We went to the GP who was a female. She delivered my sister and I so she was our peds and OB/GYN. She had seen me all through growing up. As I said once before my sister who is two years older than me robbed me of all the good parts as in bigger boobs, bigger butt etc. But when I was 12 my sister and her friends would tease me because I was still flat. The next time I went to the doctor I asked and she checked my boobs and explained that some girls are late bloomers.

I don't think I ever had a bra on for the doctor. I always got a gown after about age 11 and was just in my panties before that.

The first time I took off my bra was at a school physical examination. I was 13 years old. My chest was not very developed. The doctor was a male of about 50-55 years old. He listened to my lungs and heart with a stethoscope but did not touch me with his hands. I was so embarrassed.

Yes, he only checked my lungs and heart. Maybe because my chest was not very big. I think there were other girls with more developed breasts that could be checked. My small chest was of no interest to him.

I had only one exam in high school and the doctor a woman didn't do anything that would have had me remove my bra. My first visit to a ‘big girl exam’ just before my 17th birthday my bra wound up on top of most of my clothes on a chair. and I had on a cloth exam gown on open in the back. My new Ob/Gyn doctor lifter it off my shoulders and lowered it to my lap. And yes the doctor was a male

I used to be shirtless, in only my panties for exams and then when I was like 5 this probably stopped, but one time I was about 10, pretty developed for my age about an A.5, and the male doctor simply lifted my bra after feeling around on my belly, and began manipulating my breasts to check they’re growth he said. This was very embarrassing for me.

I can only recall that it was during my training bra days so probably later preteens or very early teens. (I outgrew the training bra phase of life long ago so the exact age is buried somewhere in the archives of my aging brain!) It was with family the male doctor who had delivered me in fact. He listened to my heart, but also commented on my breasts as developing and I am sure he would have noticed a blush on my face!

I was 13. I remember it well because he was the first adult male that I had taken it off in front off. All he did was listen to my heart.

It's always been something along the lines of, “Could you please remove your bra so I can ___________.”

It has happened much more with female providers, but happened with my male pediatrician and male GP when I had one.

My current female GP occasionally has asked me to remove it during a sick visit or follow up visit, when she wants to auscultate my heart and lungs.

No provider has ever unhooked my bra. That would probably not go well.
