Ultrasound experiences

I did have one about 25 years ago. I had terrible pain that would not go away. Went to the emergency room and the staff thought it might be gal stones. Waited for a tech which did the ultrasound. Turned out they were stones and advised to let them pass. I did not remember removing my jeans just the shirt. Not very eventful just remember the pain was excruciating.

I’ve had a few, all of which evoked different sensations. The ultrasounds on my bladder and kidneys were pleasant but nothing to cheer about. I was fully dressed at all times with only small patches of skin exposed. The trans rectal ultrasound I had for an enlarged prostate was performed by a male technician, so I was already off to a bad start. It lasted only 5-10 minutes but I hated every second of it. The ultrasound on my scrotum for (what turned out to be) only a cyst was 10 minutes of sheer pleasure. It was performed by 2 women: a technician and her assistant. They handed me a sheet, told me to strip from the waste down, and left the room. They took pains to see that only my scrotum was exposed, but the warm gel they put on the transducer felt absolutely WONDERFUL

I have experienced several ultrasound tests... mostly with no real experiences. Except one and that one lead me to several followup events of weird and exciting adventures. Began with a simple ultrasound of my heart and the doctor telling me to get my ass into his office and the need to remove a growth inside my heart.. or simply wait for an stroke or death. Robotic open heart surgery was a bit of an experience but involved being catherized as I was put under for surgery -no big deal since I was "asleep" but a few days later when the catheder was removed my bladder had forgot how to function... several interesting appointments with a female PA and she fixed that problem, then the robotic holes punched in my sides for the heart bypass lines failed to heal properly and that required a wound-heal specialist female to make repeated visits to heal the dead tissues site... meanwhile before they would release me from the hospital the doctor wanted to make certain I a "proper" bowel movement and ordered a young and inexperienced young nurse trainee to give me an enema. This young lady was more concerned with protecting my privacy than giving the enema. So that when she inserted the enema probe it hit the wall of my rectum wall instead of entering the gut... and that really hurt! I simply turned over and grabbed the end and took the enema. Yes, see what can happen following a non-exciting ultrasound.
