After infancy, the first time a doctor saw or examined my genitals was at 29!
I'd convinced myself to finally go to the doctor for anxiety, and had been trying to stretch my slightly tight foreskin to no avail, so I booked a double appointment at my GP.
When I got called down to the room, he introduced that there were two young women medical students shadowing him, I shrugged and said sure. He then asked what my problem was and I said anxiety and phimosis.
He then spent the whole double appointment on the mental health stuff - I wonder if he specifically avoided an examination given the presence of the two students, given the anxiety complaint. At the very end he told me to book another appointment to follow up on the MH drugs progress, and keep stretching and see how it goes.
Three weeks later I went expecting just a followup check on the new medication, and nothing else, we chatted about that for a while, however he then suddenly says 'oh and I haven't forgotten about the phimosis, if you'd like to lie down on the bed, I'll put some gloves on'. So he then turned his back to put on gloves and fetch a light, and I laid down on the bed and lowered my trousers and boxers. He then returned and examined my penis, retracting and replacing the foreskin a few times, looking carefully around the glans and at the frenulum.
Fortunately I'd just showered but it took me by complete surprise and I thought he'd forgotten about it - I do wonder how things would have gone if I'd had the same examination with the two medical students watching or even taking a turn
