I have to say, I've had a few experiences of male friends opening up and telling me about their examinations / experiences at the doctors. It's one of my favourite things.
The most recent was a few weeks ago - I went for a drink with a mate of mine (late 20s, good-looking), who let slip he'd had to go for a health check at a BUPA hospital that morning (he's started a new job and this was an insurance thing). I immediately thought, "wow, I wonder how much he'll tell me?" So I asked what it involved...
He told me all about having to go on a treadmill, have his lung capacity checked, how he'd been told he was an "ideal weight" and having to pee in a cup, etc. I thought it sounded too detailed not to include a genital exam, so I kept fishing for information - "right, what else did he check?" Eventually he went a bit sheepish and admitted the doctor had "had a feel of his balls." It was a big turn-on, getting him to say he'd been examined, so I laughed and said, "right, 'turn your head and cough' was it?" And he said no, his balls had been checked for lumps. It was great to imagine him only a few hours previously, with his boxers round his ankles, the doctor rolling his testicles in a gloved hand.
He finished up by saying, "yeah, it was really thorough - the only thing that wasn't checked was my arse - felt sure I was going to get a finger up my bum - phew!" We both laughed, but secretly I'd have loved it if he'd told me he'd had to have a rectal exam.
