Doctor's finger in your rectum

My first two prostate exams were in the knee-chest position which still seems to be my favorite position. My last two exams were standing, legs apart and bending over the exam table. All my exams have been done by both male and female doctors and I have no preference there.

I just visited the urologist at the VA for and digital rectal exam. Since the VA hospital I go to is affiliated with a teaching hospital there is always a med student in with the urologist.

I dropped my pants and underwear and bent over the table the Dr did his digital exam. When he was finished it was the med student's turn to put his finger up my butt and feel around. He was a nice young man, but why can it never be a good looking female med student? Maybe next time!

I get it laying on my side the last few times. First time (diff. Dr.) had me knees on the table resting on my chest. I was wide open for that first one. And it hurt a great deal.

At the first exam my patients are very surprised but from second time i think there are very exciting from this humiliation part of the examination.

Mine have all been with me on my side, except for one bending over the table. I think American doctors now regard the side as the least threatening position for the patient. Some even do the whole thing under a drape without looking.

My only prostate examination was done bent over the end of an examination table and was very humiliating but eventually led me to this site. I was completely naked being examined by a nurse who was at the same time explaining what she was doing to two other women sat just behind me, a colonics practitioner and a woman I had only known a few days, who because of a mix up the nurse thought was my partner.

It was only afterwards when I thought about what had happened that I realised I found myself get aroused by the memory. I wrote about what happened in my first story 'Unplanned Examination'.

Had one at 19 and I was too shocked to enjoy it but now I regret it.

Bending over is too quick nd the doc that did it on my side did it so yummy that I moaned a little, couldn't hold it back but she kept it very professional.

As for the OP's question, I personally enjoy it. I love the squishy feeling of being all lubed up and I enjoy the ride. I never say or do anything disrespectful but if the wall I'm facing had eyes it would see me making very pleasurable faces lol

My father had prostate cancer so I get an annual prostate check. One time I had a new dr, a female who was also a naturapath. She was actually my wife's dr and usually only saw female patients. Anyway, it turns out she had never done a prostate check and I had to basically instruct her. Had to tell her when to stop as I was starting to leak precome. Would have been embarassing if I had got an erection because she was a family friend and she way gay too. Thankfully it was the only time I had to see her professionaly before she moved away.

My doc has never had me in stirrups for anything. My DRE is done with me leaning slightly forward over the table. In stirrups might be fun though

My first was in the ER during college. I had peed blood one night over the weekend, and the student health center was closed, so to the ER I went. They did a variety of tests (all done with the intern/resident as primary doctor - he kept having to go back to the head doc to check on what was next; he left the room every time he had asked me a few questions, then came back and did the next exam or test). One time he came back and said, " I need to do a rectal exam." He instructed me to bend over the exam table and rest my arms there, and spread my legs a little bit. He didn't really spread my cheeks, just pushed a finger between them until he found the opening and then pushed right on in. It made me feel full but it wasn't uncomfortable. It wasn't particularly exciting either (probably because it was 2am and I was tired of being there, plus he was a guy, not that much older than me, and I'm not into guys), but had it been a female...?

The other time was a few years ago when I found a lump next to my anus, and went to three different doctors to be checked (before having the hemorrhoid removed surgically and successfully). All three, one woman and two men doctors, had me lie on my side with my legs pulled to my chest. All used a very bright light, spread my cheeks wide with both hands, and eventually inserted a finger to feel around and ask me if there was any pain at any point. In each case a female nurse was present. In the first exam, the female stood behind the doctor, did not assist, but had a front row seat view of my ass; of all the places in the room she could have stood, given that she wasn't assisting, she stood right where she could have the best view if she wanted it (I never turned my head to see if she was looking at me). In the second, the nurse was behind a cloth curtain and did not assist and did not see any of the exam. In the third, the nurse assisted; she lubricated the doctor's finger and had her face right up close to my bottom as the doctor explained everything he was looking at and doing with his finger (I did turn my head and look this time, and her gaze was focused right on the bull eye).

OK so I am going to have to make an appt to go to the doctor. I have only seen this doctor once before as it was for him just to refill my meds. but I also have a back problem and need him to look at it so I was thinking about just making an apt to have a Physical done and kill 2 birds with one stone. here is what I want to know

Everyone seems to go back and forth on when you will have to have a rectal exam some say after 40 some say its sooner,

Me being 29 going on 30 in a few months can some shead some light one this for me so I know what to expect,

My doc has me spread my legs and bend over the table and then reach back with both hands and pull my buttocks apart wide open. He then snaps on the glove, lubes me and his finger slides in. Spends a little time feeling all sides of my hole first and tells me he is looking for signs of hemorrhoids, then on in to feel the prostate while asking me questions about any difficulty peeing, how long does it take to empty my bladder, am I sexually active, how often do I ejaculate, difficulty with ejaculation, do I masturbate, how often, any pain there. When finished he wipes the lube from my hole, but it's still there when I get dressed.

During my first few rectal exams I was terrified and it made me feel a little sick. I felt dread from the moment the doctor reached for the lube until he or she removed that finger from my rectum.

But for some reason, it started to become enjoyable after a while, in both play and real exams. I'm disappointed during exams when I don't get one, and I get so excited when I do get one that I'm always so sure the doctor notices. At least once, I'm pretty sure the doctor gave me a longer rectal exam than usual and pushed his finger in deeper because he could tell that I liked it.

I enjoy giving my wife a rectal exam during med play. It is very intimate and exciting.

Every time he does it. From the time his finger enters my pink pucker hole till he hits the prostate. Im pushing back on his finger and he's wiggling it and pushing on my prostate. When I made my GYN appontment the nurse told that I would getting a rectal exam so I decided to take an enema before my appointment to make sure I was squeaky clean. Come to find out she preferred I don't do that because she wants to do a stool test...oops...I didn't know.

I hate it and i have to get one each year

I do not enjoy or dread finger. When it's in I feel like I need to make a bowel movement. When it's out it feels like I have just made a bowel movement. That's pretty much the end of the boring story for me.

DRE is something normal for me (by the way, my next physical is scheduled on Mon). I strip off my boxers, bend over a table with legs spread, one put on a small stool. The doctor inserts lubricated finger which results in a brief discomfort, feeling fullness and a kind of pleasure. I always experience a semi hard on and a slight leakage of a sticky fluid. This response was never commented.

Age is not a criteria for rectal examination (at least in the UK). The following are some of the indications.

In men

-Prostate cancer.

- Symptoms of prostatism (urgency , incomplete urination, straining to pass urine).

- Assessment of urethral injury.

In women

- virgo intacta ( a rectal examination is preferred for if gynaecological assessment in a virgin).

- Assessment of endometriosis (bimanual examination is performed)

In either sexes:

-Any ano-rectal problems (eg: haemorrhoids, fistula, fissure, rectal cancer, prolapse ect.)

-Assessment of abdominal pain.

-Assessment of bowel obstruction

-Constipation.

Most rectal examinations are done in left lateral position. The only exceptions I have come across is in painful ano-rectal conditions in which the patient is more comfortable bending over a table rather than lying down.

I don't like it. I had to have a doctor put a finger up my anus several times. The last time I had a hemeraroid I had to lay on my side with my knees up and he put his finger deep in me and moved it around. I was very sensitive and it was alot of pressure and it hurt. It hurt so bad that I could not control my self and I cryed out a couple times. I am sure that if the nurse or someone was on the other side of the door in the hallway they could have heard me.

I have only had a few rectal exams. I find the most embarrassing part of this to be the positioning for the exam. I think being on my side with the front knee bent upward is the most embarrassing because it requires the most instruction by the examiner and is the most awkward position. Being bent over the examination table is simpler and quicker.

I love it when my doctor puts her finger in my rectum. The feeling of her ky lubed finger sliding into my rectum is amazing. She is a very thorough doctor and a physical actually takes the entire hour. I would say the rectal exam lasts 2-3 minutes and I enjoy every bit of it. When she examines my prostate, I usually start leaking pre cum like crazy.

All of my prostate exams were with me bent over a table except for one that I was lying on my back on a table with my feet drawn up just as one would be in stirrups. This doctor was wierd. He had me undress with him watching at his desk asking me questions. He did have a knock out nurse, however.

Oh yea he tell me to drop my drawers and stand there with my pants and underwesr to the floor then it takes him a while to put glove and lube on. Feel wierd bent over the chair with my whole back side hanging out

I love it. I saw a doctor for bowel problems and rectsl pain and he actually told me to make regular appointments so he could give me 20 minutes of a rectal massage. It really worked. The pain went away and I was regular again. He was gentle and used a lot of lube and he really worked to stretch me out as I beared down.
