In Norway children and teen are often subjected to a procedure to assess weather he/she is subjected to child abuse, do things together with other kids or with him/herself not approved by the society or have interests not regarded as age-appropriate or socially appropriate.
What is done is a general physical exam, a more specific exam of the genitals and anal region and a forensic interrogation. The intimate exam is in fact a virginity check plus a lot more than just that.
One also take specimens form all body areas, and every part of the young person is photographed, and the pictures are stored for future use.
Any kind of unusual behavior, unusual meanings, or unusual interests can lead to such a procedure.
The procedure is typically done in special clinics called "Statens Barnehus", which literally means "The child houses of the state" which is run as a cooperation between the police, the health service and the child protective agencies.
These procedures and establishments are not even held secret. In fact the state are advertising it to the public as if to make young people and parents used to and accept that the state shall see and know everything about the kid and the family.
But in addition to the admitted and even advertised procedures, I am sure young people are also used as research objects and subjected to more extended procedures not told about, and hided by use of anesthesia, either inside these "child houses" or at cooperating clinics.
