I once made a series of wooden plugs/dialators/dildos ... it was indeed fun trying to come up with something out of the ordinary, not that easy at all. And some of the more obvious shapes were not especially the more pleasurable either, oddly enough.

Of interest, I have one similar to the second one from the left. It was designed with a hollow handle in which we put the tails for a flogger; double duty. Made quite the piece of equipment, when I lived in San Francisco.

Butternut squashes can be fun; come in all shapes and sizes. Whittle it down a bit to taper it just before the large base to get well and truly plugged. Work your way up to bigger sizes for anal stretching.

Gosh, this sounds like fun! I have used ginger as suppositories, but those have been small. I can't wait to try one as a butt plug! I have used candles, but have been too lazy to make my own shape. The candles are pretty nice though, as the wax softens a bit in a hot bottom and bends a bit to conform to a shape that is fitting.

Recently my sister suggested that I needed to get a new hobby. I was contemplating what I could do; I've been a good wood worker both in furniture and construction but I was not really tempted to go back to that, recently I've done lots of computer gaming modifications but now I'm really outclassed in the modern environment. Then it came to me that once upon a time back in college I'd been a decent sculptor, perhaps something in that field. I'd worked mostly in clay but... what about stone? Well some quick googling showed me that there were many starter kits for work in soapstone and alabaster, tools seemed cheap enough as were materials. Many of the tools were familiar from woodworking which was a plus...

And then one of my other hobbies, stuffing things in my butt, chimed in! Oh, my, I could make my own butt plugs and dildos from stone! I'd looked at the commercially available stone plugs and dongs with longing but they were really out of my price range but, if I made my own... 😃

Some more (more or less frantic) googling lead me here to Zity and to this thread. So... has anyone here tried this? Does anyone have some other websites they can suggest?

I am very excited, my first project will probably be duplicating a DocJohnson med. plug, with the modifications that I've always felt were necessary for my own comfort. I am estimating about a year of learning before I'll be able to make anything truly beautiful but the failures along the way ought to be entertaining. The drawbacks I can foresee are that the stone is likely to be porous and possibly prone to fracturing. The fracturing can be addressed by experience but the porosity may require some form of coating, although I'd like to avoid that if possible.

I was on the toilet and i noticed that i had a bag of quick set cement and i wondered if you fill a condom (or two to be safe) with cement and hang it upsidedown with a base and a steel rod through the middle and put a condome over it it should be a decent anal toy i havent tried yet but sounds good to me.

I use electrical tape to make a tight fit. Fill my bag with warm water, insert the balloon and let the water flow in. By moving the bag up and down you can regulate the pressure. Also once you get the right pressure you can clamp it off and walk around. I have also used the douche nozzle and while sitting down i would rock back and forth, letting the nozzle rub against my prostate and making me cum.

Thick glass and plastic bottles are very good and give you a good gradual stretch. There are bottles if all different shapes and sizes so it really is up to your imagination. I once bought a small POM bottle that looks like two 3 inch balls glued together... What a rush that was. 😃

If you want to get libe no one will bat an eye at, get yourself a tub of ALBOLENE.... It's the best lube I've ever experienced.

Oh and another tip.... Fill your bottles with ice water and make sure there is NO air in there WHATSOEVER. The idea is to use water sooo cold that once it reaches room temp (21 degrees Celsius) it will cause the bottle to expand and not cave in on itself if it's a plastic bottle. Bottles that cave may create sharp edges and that is most definitely NOT fun.

But one of my favorite anal toys is a simple foam ball (or nerf ball)

You can easily find them in toy stores, or you get them as company logo gifts.

You take the foam ball wrap it in shrink-wrap (kitchen type or industrial), apply some lubricant and you’re ready to go.

The nice thing is you can really squeeze it to a small ball for easy insertion ,and after it is inside it expels again and gives you a nice full feeling.

If you’re scared it might get stuck, make sure you cut the end of the shrink-wrap long enough so you have some sort of string.

I decided I needed to make my own "walking around" plug. My first attempt wasn't much. I took a spark plug boot from a Toyota, which is about 7/8" thick with a 1.5" diameter flange at the top, and I shoved a fat lugnut inside it to form a bulb that was about 1.3".

So here is the story of KinkyMonkey's Outstanding Buttplug Device MarkII

Since I really enjoy a glass dildo for the smooth entry and temp control, I decided I wanted to make a solid style buttplug. I also wanted to make it to where I could change plugs, shaft thickness, and even shaft length without making a whole new toy.

First I started with the base because I knew the base was the key. I wanted a round or rounded steel bar for my base so it would nestle between my cheeks like a steel g-string. Rummaging through my toolbox I found the bar from a slide hammer that i'd saved after upgrading to a longer one. It was 1/2" in diameter and had a 1" round bulb that serves as a stop for the hammer. Perfect! I cut the rod down on each side of the bulb, leaving 1.75" on what would be the perianum side and 1" one the spine side. I did this so that I would have enough base to keep the toy from slipping all in but the spine side wouldn't poke unusual bumps in my pants while I lean into an engine bay.

(BTW this whole thing was designed while I was bored at work with other mechanics scratching their heads at my work clueless)

Next, I drilled and tapped a hole on the bulb to accept a threaded rod (3/8"). I put the hole at an angle to that the installed rod would sit at a cant about 15 degrees from perpendicular leaning toward the spine side. I did this thinking the toy would sit better and not push against my perianum while standing and walking. I am glad I did because all I have is a gentle push while walking. Had I gone full perpendicular my poor peri would hate me.

Then I made a shaft (first of many) to slip over the threaded rod. I used a chrome deepwell socket ground down to 1.5 inches long and then polished to remove any burrs. Using this shaft I needed a 2.25" threaded rod so I had enough to thread both ends.

For the actual plug I chose a round ball knob off another tool I had laying around (an accelorator pedal depressor). The knob is 35mm and was already tapped for 3/8" threads. I polished some manufactoring flash off the knob with 400 grit sandpaper and then assembled the toy (to this point no coworker saw all the objects together and deigning to keep it that way I went to the bathroom for this part)

The end result was phenominal! I now have a steel toy that I can change to my liking. I am wearing the original design as I type this and have been all day. The base is very comfortable and with the 1.5" shaft length the ball is just deep enough to stay snug.

The 15mm socket had an outside diameter of .75" which is a great feeling for walking around. I made a thinner shaft to put rubber sleeves on for short term use (think studded band). I want to make a thicker shaft but am waiting until I upgrade ball size. I think. Want to keep the ball to shaft diameter ratio the same to avoid dropping the ball (hehe).

For my next upgrade I'm already eying the 40mm ball on my Logictek trackball mouse. I think a 1" shaft diameter would mate well with it. I just happen to have an 11/16" socket with that diameter...
