It was a great magazine. A used book/magazine store I often visited sometimes had copies. I haven't seen it online.

And the quality is atrocious ... really, all you would be doing is taking a photo of a page, like in a WWII spy movie, except not with a miniature camera you're trying to hide from the Gestapo ... ha ha

Scanners are what the doctor prescribed for reproducing pages from magazines or illustrations etc. The thing is though, I have found that few people like to scan. They consider it a tedious chore and moreover a needless investment to buy a decent scanner. And it takes practice to do right.

Aha ... but OCR-ing does not need reproduction quality imaging. Since the scan is just an intermediary step in the process in OCR-ing the text into a word processor format ASCII format , it is not that important image wise.

Photos and drawings need to be aligned perfectly flush - 180 degrees - to the scanning device and be perfectly flat. Deviate even 1 degree out of flush and an image is ruined. Not only will it be out of focus on some parts, but also the color brightness will vary.

Anyway ... just my long experience scanning for publication and pleasure ...

You can check Ebay, be verified to view adult items, and they have some enema magazines listed, and Altaglamour.com has a large inventory of vintage enema magazines. I've bought from them several times with great service, and have ordered many times from Ebay.

There's a newer website called 'Water And Power.' It was created in 2015 and is based out of London, England.

'Water And Power' seems to regularly upload new, short clips of females receiving a wide variety of different enemas by mostly males, (and by few females too) that can be watched on most free porn websites. Back in the day I ordered 1 copy of a Beth Tyler magazine. Through the years I' ve recognized images from it scattered across the internet. And the story it featured, "Johnny's First," is in the Zity library. A real classic. The magazine is long gone, I don't remember when I got rid of it.

While I agree with @agracier that a dedicated scanner is best, there are smartphone apps that do a much better job than just taking a picture of a picture. I use Google PhotoScan.

Remembering so much that was forgotten through the years. In one city along the way I stopped and sought out a porn store where I bought a copy of Water and Power. It had two stories that I loved: One was "Ordeal in Ward E", which was widely posted online years later as "The Welcome Wagon". The other was posted online as Johnny's First Enema Orgasm". Sadly, the magazine and all my enema gear had to be disposed of before the move to Georgia. Both stories were better in the magazine versions. Sure wish someone would share a scan of those stories!

In my EneMuseum Enema Library section I have almost all of the issues of W&P, Waterworks, Wet Dreams and the other enema magazines by platinum publishing. Most of the enema pictures were posed fakes, but they had some good ones and stories from time to time.

In the 80's while traveling on business I would seek out the mom & pop porn shops in some of the major cities that I visited- so many around back then. The first 'enema' publication (other than the Penthouse letters and forum) I stumbled upon was a newspaper-type rag called "Enema Thrills". I then came across "Water & Power" and "Fetish Times"- all containing enema subjects and portfolio photos. The porn shops were the 'internet of porn' back in those days- and what a thrilling experience it used to be. So many are gone now but I have fond memories of those exciting times. ...michael

For me in those times, the sex shops sprang up like mushrooms in the small villages just across the border in the Netherlands. Any old ramschakle shop would do at first. Just stuff it with porn mags and vibrators and that was all you needed.

In English you'd say mom & pop stores, in Dutch they were characterized as run by 'seksboeren' (sex farmers as in something more akin to sex hustlers/hillbillies). These were guys who would jump on any bandwagon that was currently hot stuff, video clubs, massage parlors or sex shops.

All gone too of course. I am sorry I didn't visit them more often or buy specific magazines or stuff.

@naughtydoc the last time I moved I went through my collection, put it all in order, and then parted with all the duplicates. Some I sold on ebay and others I gave away at the Florida E-Fests.

I have a full set of Enema Erotica. However, there is one issue that came defective from the printer.

In technical terms, for a stitched booklet it had a 'sig' missing.

I also have issues 9 and 10 of Nozzle talk.

Way back in 1996 I acquired a scanner, and I scanned a bunch of pictures from E.E.

Uploaded them to USENET.

I still see some floating around on the net. There's probably a few in the albums here.

As for scanning old material, not everyone has a good dedicated scanner BUT.......... Anyone that has a multi-purpose printer today has a decent scanner. Most will scan up to at least 300dpi and some even higher. I have a Canon color laser multi that native is 300 but it can be set up to 1200 and it will scan to PDF, JPEG, GIF, PNG, TIFF, SVG, and HEIF. What format you scan to depends on what you're doing with the file. When you find a printer/scanner at a yard sale, pawn shop, thrift store, use your phone to make sure you can download the drivers before you buy it. Also look at the specs for scan details.

Another thing to consider is that yes, you can find MANY used multi printers cheap and even if you don't use the printer you can still scan usually to USB memory or to your computer after installing the drivers and software. Just remember on most (or even all) inkjet printers if they use ink tanks the print heads are usually clogged and useless. Printers that use cartridges that are tank & print head (translate expensive) usually work with just replacing the ink/heads. I find color lasers most cost effective and I find re-manufactured toner online. I just acquired a used Zerox Color Qube 8570 hot melt inkjet that prints GREAT using solid ink blocks! Look around there are deals but be careful, there are pitfalls too!

I have lost some old 70's copies of Water & Power but still have a large collection. In those times I also collected enema thrills, Enema Erotica, & Sherema. I had just got my own place & regularly checked out the book stories for the latest. Got a 1/2 size magazine with pictures from the flick "Reform School Enema". Those were the golden days of enemas.

I have never seen enema publications anywhere. My learning is all from finding ways to get water flowing.
