My first suppository experiance was aged 6or 7 on holiday at a camp site.I was a frequent 'holder' and far too busy playing football &climbing trees with my brother to be bothered about taking a dump. One night I got really bad stomach cramps, and over the next few days was given syrup of figs,ex-lax chocolate, and some chocolate granuals, but all with no effect. Idid'nt want to use the toilet at the campsite, as it was an 'el-san' chemical toilet, a tin drum with an old wooden seat, quite alien to me!The next day after more bad stomach pains ,my dad said he would drive into town and get some 'special' medicine, and when he got back, I would be getting some 'jellys' yum, I thought!
when he got back,he told me i had to have 2 jelllys, and they had to be pushed right up my bottom.I was horrified as he pulled my pants down ,dipped the supps in a cup of warm water and plunged the first one right up inside me,Iprotested, and cried, already feeling the burning sensation, then came No.2,now held in with his finger. Iwas told I had to hold them as long as i could,. I remember crieing, saying I wanted to go real bad, but was told i'd have to hold on longer
Then I was told i,d have to sit on a bucket,so he could see if they had worked and I'd done enough.
i had a huge dump and remember seeing the unmelted supps in the bucket
These were the first of what was to be a life-long fascination with glycerin suppositories, which I continue to enjoy to this day!
