But in the past identified as Lesbian to avoid Male profile attention 🤣 found I got more Male attention than ever before. I have also had a few suspicions regarding females who seem to be acting odd on this site. Some of their stories don't add up or seem too good to be true. I personally agree with the rules and hope people are the gender they claim. It is always helpful to read member's profile. I once answered an add I thought was from a woman only to read on his profile that he was a transvestite.

Also, the women of this site should be treated with more respect. There is a place to advertise yourself, otherwise men should be more respectful.

There are certainly people here who I’ve had my suspicions about but I kind of start with the premise that everything on the internet is fake and then work from there. If, over time, people are consistent and aren’t spouting nonsense I’ll grant they may be what they claim but my default is people are lying. OTOH I’m not here to meet anyone IRL and I don’t like chat sex so it’s not something that’s directly affected me

In my opinion is the Internet, that was born about nearly 30 years ago, an also place, what is needed in the world, but in the same time, a playsquare for all the people, who want be anonyme, and tell the others, what ever will be in their mind, if true or Phantasie !!

And in this way it will be very easy, to join in, where ever you want, under falsed gender !!

I have a longtime friend who is an FBI agent in Eastern Pennsylvania, and part of his job involves him going on various social media sites posing as a young female (10-15 years old) looking for a good time. On average he investigates and arrests maybe 30-40 suspected child molesters a year.

I don't see why anyone would do this. Honesty is what this site is about. IMHO

I want to chime in here.

Let’s start with the good news…

There are real females on zity. Some of them are very special people that joined this site for all the right reasons, and they deserve to not get hounded with lewd comments or lose control of their inbox to a flood of us horny males. That kind of stuff drives the real ladies away and there are less kinky gals here, and then we all lose.

Be polite. Be respectful. Be honest. Be generous with info. Be you. I think we can do ALL those things and yield positive results. I am sure even my most polite messages are sometimes unwanted and I get it. I really do empathize. One has to just move on as there is no universal answer, and we have to be respectful more than persistent. It is possible to meet real ladies here that share your similar interests, it just takes patience, discretion, caution, effort, and time.

The bad news…

I think there are at least two members I can think of that are males posing as females. I will not call them out, but be aware, other real females I’ve met here on zity think the exact thing about the same accounts. Those real ladies also got a dude vibe from said members. My guess is their days are numbered and our wonderful moderators will keep doing an amazing job pruning the zity tree of bad fruit.

I’m always worried the person on the other end of a zity chat could be male posing, but I’ve been lucky to meet some really special friends over this site that were exactly who they claimed to be. I always offer a free lunch or coffee to hang out in public safe space, and that meeting reveals the truth every time.

Yeah I'm sure there are many males impersonating as females on here, if you think they are report a post from them to the moderators and let them look into it. They will weed out the fakes, LisaK pulled that off for years and they finally figured it out and banned him. Don't be afraid to report someone, it won't get you in trouble, and we don't need imposters in here!!! 😡 And also show respect to the true ladies on here, they deserve it! And have many women friends on here. ☺️🌹

Yes it matters because I am sure a lot of men would not like it if they thought were talking to a woman but they find out it is really a man. It will just make them angry won't it? A man wrote to me yesterday and he told me about a member who he thought was faking being a woman. We think there are other things wrong about the fake woman as well. Not to be that guy, but this isn't unique to zity and the inverse is also not unique to here. This has pretty much been a thing online since the dawn of the internet and internet communication. Is it frustrating for people? Sure at times it most certainly is, but this is why you always take things you read online or see on tv, or read in the papers etc etc with a huge grain of salt until you have means to confirm otherwise. At this point it's the same thing as these scam callers that call elderly people pretending that they've won money so they can get their info. Is it kinda shitty and shady? For sure it is, but you have an obligation to yourself to be cautious and try your best not to fall for it. I'm not saying you forgive the scammers and absolve them of responsibility only that in this wild world of ours it's your job to protect you and yours ultimately. Food for thought.

17 years I’ve been on this forum- Since long before it was zity. I’m going to give some of these replies a pass since you all are newbs, but be aware this stuff DOES matter to many of us old guard kinksters.

While we know the web is full of dudes posing as females, we don’t want to be wasting our time with others that are dishonest and have no intention of meeting for play while on this particular site. This place is Camelot and we all need to put in the time to keep it that way. Respect the history and effort that is behind this ever-evolving community.

Back in 2008, we hosted Efest West, and quite a few zity members came out. It was awesome and meeting everyone was a real treat. They were all real people, none of them pretending to be something they were not. It changes how you view this site when you’ve personally shared time or play with many that others just see as a faceless name on a screen. Be aware of this reality.

It is a big disappointment that all these enemas later, some people are still so full of sh*t, so to speak.

@enough I would hope that there are other males out there that do those things as well. Such skills and abilities should not be limited to just the female being. Times have changed, roles are not as defined and limited as they once were. I know a number of young single males that do such because they have no one else to do it for them.

The ones that are actually being addressed in this topic are males who are just plain lying about being female. They are falsely portraying and osting as a female for whatever reason. Misleading anyone who reads their posts or has contact with them. Those are the members moderation is keeping an eye out for.

Honesty is important to me. That's why I asked myself what it would be like for me if I were to communicate with someone here in Zity, for example, who pretends to be a woman even though he is a man or who pretends to be a man even though she is a woman. My first thought was "That's not possible! That's a form of cheating." Later, I saw it in a more differentiated way. If someone pretends to be a different gender, the intention behind it would be decisive for me. Is someone doing it to gain an advantage or to deliberately harm others? If that were the case, it would not be acceptable to me. But if, for example, a man occasionally feels the need to experience himself in the role of a woman and appear like that on the internet, then it would be something else for me. More like men who are transvestites. But to stick to the truth, there should be another option than selecting "man" or "woman" as the gender. There are already several possibilities in Zity. But there is nothing that corresponds to transvestitism.

I have seen some things about OB/GYN appointments and doctor appointments that are way too far out there to believe. It is like they have seen too many fake videos and they think that is what goes on. I have never had a doctor douche me or give me a suppository, never. Even when I worked at the OB/GYN clinic I never saw that. Maybe they do it in some other countries.

When I talk about our appointments I always make it a point to state that we were not in the same exam room naked. My sister will be in with me and I will be in with her. That is what we are used to. We went to the doctor together as children also. I also say sorry to disappoint you guys. It is not like my sister is standing there with a gown on waiting to hop up on the exam table right after me etc.

I have caught a couple guys pretending to be girls years ago when i usta chat with a lot of the members, never had any doubts about most of them though. There are several on here that can vouch for my identity.

Curious as to what men pretending to be females get off on. Same issue was raised on the Are You Really Who You Are thread. But what’s the attraction of pretending to be a woman? Getting confidential responses from real women? Stringing guys along who hit or show interest in you? Just what? Ive seen obvious men pretending to be women.

This topic got me thinking. Openness about transsexualism is a, relatively, new thing. i would imagine that trans people build/built closets in an era when being trans was considered "men posing as women" or women 'posing' as men. Social leaning and evolution, where being transexual is now considered 'okay,' doesn't mean everyone is onboard. Society seems to be at the same place with trans people as it was with gays a few decades ago. Trans people still have a high incidence of rejection and abuse when they are open about who and how they are.

i do not see a black or white answer to the question of "why" people pose as something other than they are, or if they all even perceive themselves as actually doing that? No doubt there are those who are predators and are posing in that context, but i question whether it is true about all those who do? i can easily imagine some presenting as women because that is how they want/need to be seen and responded to, not for nefarious or predatory reasons? i can imagine such a person using the anonymity of the internet to remove the visuals that result in others responding to them based on how they look vs how they perceive their self and want to be seen? idk, it just seems more complicated to me.

That’s an interesting observation. Goes beyond stating “MTF” in your profile because that automatically classifies someone in a way they may not want.

Yes. The trans people i have known, and what i have read about their feelings and perceptions, is they do not see their self as "transitioning" from one gender to another (i.e. 'MTF' or 'FTM'), they are looking, in part, to aline their outward appearance, and how others see them, as they see their self.

i worked with a doctor who 'transitioned' MTF. i thought her enormously brave to do so in a community where she had been 'known' and related to as a man for several years. She eventually left because some were not accepting, but others simply were not always conscious and responded to her as how they had formerly known her, not as how she was currently presenting. It hurt her deeply, and she perceived it as "hate."

i think her experience, and our experience with her, is a good example of how we often do not live and act based on hearing and seeing, but based on the image/s we form of people in our mind/emotions. We respond, largely, to that image instead of the person. i think it also indicates how our actions are weighted... how much do we take others at 'face value' (i.e. how they present) vs how we perceive them? i think that probably is more fluid with some than others, but i think it's foundational to connecting and relationship.
