How far was your underwear lowered for a rectal temperature?

This was always done by my mom, all my older sisters, several of mom's neighbor lady friends, all the nurses at the clinic, all of my older sister's friends and their moms.

How is it that so many people have taken your rectal temperature? It sounds as if it happened very often. If so, why?

What underwear. Clothing during a exam only gets in the way. I am just wearing one of those ill fitting gowns trying to steel myself for the anal intrusion.

Typically at home my briefs were to be removed, while at the pediatrician it was usually taken down to my knees or more. The result was the same, me laying there with no say in the matter and a thermometer in my bottom.

When at the pediatrician I had my brief completely removed. Nowdays my play doc requires to be completely naked too and in a lythotomy position.

Just to the knees.

Always all the way off, either at home or at the doctor. Often at the doctor I was already fully undressed in preparation for the exam, prior to my temperature being taken, so it was just a matter of turning over to lay on my tummy on the table. Other times I did still have my panties on, and similarly to how someone else described, the nurse would tell me to lay on my tummy and turn my head to the side to look at a picture on the wall. She would tell me to lift my hips a little and she would slide my panties all the way off and set them over on the chair out of the way. Definitely something intense about just laying there staring at that picture, feeling them come off and knowing my bottom was fully exposed. By virtue of not being able to see, it built the anticipation followed by a sudden sensation of a hand on my bottom, spreading me open, followed shortly thereafter by the sensation of the cold tip of the thermometer touching then sliding inside.

It was somewhat similar at home in that my panties were always taken all the way off. But my mom wouldn't always have me turn my head off in the opposite direction from where she was positioned (though I would sometimes). If I turned my head towards her side, I would get an extra rush from laying there naked and watching her pick up the thermometer and apply lube to it. I liked looking at it and thinking about how it was about to be inside of me.

As far as I remember, I was always on my left side when I got my RT taken. Since I was sick, I was in my pajamas in bed, and I lowered it only about mid-thigh, just enough to expose my butt. Then, my mom would gently lift my upper butt cheek and slowly insert the thermometer.

I remember that a nurse took my RT once at the pediatrician. Again, on the left side (I guess because I was used to it from home), and I do not remember how she handled my underwear. Maybe also just enough to see my butt hole.

I have allready posted about the only time when my rectal temperature was taken, back in 1970 at my last high physical, a few days after I turned 18.

For the genital exam , the attractive female doctor had lowered my pans to my ankles. After she had palpated my penis and testicles and retracted several time my foreskin, she just asked me: " please turn around for me''. Then, she parted my buttchecks and I felt the thermometer being inserted deep into my rectum. The doctor then kept her hands on my buttockks as the thermometer registered. An humiliating ( having my temperature taken like a baby), but also exciting experience ( the touch of the hands of the doctor on my butt was so soft)

The last time I had my childhood rectal temperature taken at the doctor's office, a new nurse used my Captain American underwear as a restraint to hold me steady. She didn't really need to do this because I usually tolerated rectal temperatures okay. She had me lie on my back, pulled my underwear down to mid-thigh and frogged my knees back towards my chest. I could tell my butt cheeks were spread apart lying like this so she could see where to stick the thermometer. Right before she did the insertion, I felt her twist the seat of my underwear to pull my thighs together so I couldn't move. I felt the sudden slippery invasion up my backdoor, and it was uncomfortable this time. She stuck it in really far, a lot deeper than the other nurse. Maybe because she was so young and inexperienced, but it didn't feel so nice and I whimpered for the 4 or 5 minute eternity she left it in.

As boy when it was taken by mum etc. usually down to the knees

It depended on who was doing it. I've had mine taken with my underwear slightly lowered. Sometimes down to me knees or my feet. Then there were times when they took them completely off. Mostly it was around my knees because my nurse would have to hole me down.
