Whenever the Olympics take place, I'm reminded of a moment that may have spawned my med-fetish. I was 12 and watching the 1976 Olympics in Montreal, the year Nadia Comeneci of Romania dominated the gymnastics competition at age 14.
I think it was studio analyst Jim McKay (though not sure) who for some strange reason described a procedure all female Olympians had to endure. He said they had to disrobe and stand fully nude in front of a panel of men, describing it as a humiliating experience (no shit, Jim). This wasn't the medical exam, which I'm sure they had to have, too. I think he said this was done to ensure there were no males posing as females.
I had just discovered masturbation around that time and this fueled quite a few fantasies as I envisioned every hot female Olympian having to submit to this embarrassing procedure. It upset me that a bunch of horny old men (presumably) would require young females to be subjected to this, but I also was envious of these men on the panel and wondered how they were selected.
I tried to find more information on this over the years. One article stated the panel consisted of international gynecologists. On a message board someone claimed the females would enter draped in a towel and then required to hold it open while the men parted their labia for a visual inspection to ensure they weren't once male and had sex reassignment surgery. Not sure if that part is true, but if it is … Wow!
I recall reading they stopped doing this many years back due to complaints from women's rights groups or something of that nature.
