I'm uncut, but I feel like being circumcised would make me feel "more naked" when others can see my penis. With the foreskin, I feel like the most private part of my body (my glans) is at least concealed. Your thoughts?
Because my penis was circumcised later in life, my experience is somewhat similar to what you've described. But, it was not so much about feeling "more naked;" it was rather about being aware of the exposed glans.
When my penis hadn't yet been circumcised, the glans was sensitive and moist, because it was covered with a foreskin. Once the foreskin was removed though, the glans, still as much sensitive as before, became fully exposed. For many months, before the glans was allowed to keratinize and dry out, I have always been aware of it rubbing against the clothing. It took probably a year for my penis to feel considerably less inside my pants, but the awareness of the entire glans being permanently exposed remained. It was amplified after the doctor explained the main purpose of the procedure - permanent exposure the entire glans.
For many uncircumcised men, the glans is often the most private part of their bodies because it is only revealed during the moments of intimacy, in private, or in a medical setting. For this exact reason, uncircumcised boys and men are often uncomfortable or shy exposing their glans in public and feel awkward about doing it in front of a doctor. So, it is very much possible for a male circumcised later in life feel "more naked."
