I recently began wearing cotton diapers again after a long hiatus, and I have discovered happily that I greatly prefer them to the disposables I have loved all my life as a fetishistic dl. Not only do cloth diapers protect me well (I enjoy total incontinence -- sometimes voluntary, sometimes involuntary), and provide great emotional comfort and erotic stimulation, but they aid me greatly with regression as an ab.
I am reparenting due to major cyclical childhood abuse and trauma that both led to and was caused by encopresis and enuresis (could not toilet-train until sixteen). My Mom used cloth diapers and rubber pants on me and always hated changing them. I was averse to them for that reason as an adult until I realized they were the key to the highway leading to emotional well-being and erotic satisfaction. Now I am back on good terms with them, and I love them. They are so soft, cute, and comfortable! They are really absorbent. And, now I don't have to feel guilty any longer about disposing of number two in the trash when I poop my Depends and can't rinse 'em out.
Wetting and soiling my cloth diapers, enjoying their splendid, pungent aroma, rinsing them lovingly in the toilet, soaking them in the diaper pail (which I love so much,) and laundering them until they are fresh and clean again is all immensely therapeutic and reassuring for me. (Exciting too!) I do advocate the use of cloth diapers for emotional, sexual, and environmental reasons, but I will always love vintage toddler and overnight Pampers and adult 'sposies as well. (Auntie lovingly pinned my Pampers on me in the late '60's, but that's for another thread.)
So, to answer the question, my favorite all-the-time diapers right now are Baby Pants birdseye prefolds with seriously large diaper pins covered by Gary high-backed Euroflex urethane pants. I wear them morning, noon, and night, though I do change them eventually. (I love being in my wet, messy diapers!) For exercising, I do enjoy the Gary Pull-On Diapers with the same pants (or with Netti SuperSoft PUL pants, though those do tend to leak).
Sorry to be so long-winded. I am a newbie. Best to everybody.
