Interesting. As I've mentioned in several other posts, I have very slow moving bowels. I've recently increased my intake of fiber, fruits, and water and started doing some cardio exercise. Even with this new regiment - after having a coffee enema on Saturday, I just finally had a natural bowel movement tonight (Wednesday). While I produced a good amount of crap - I still feel like my bowels are pretty full - and if I were to take an enema I would clear a lot of solids.
If I abstain from enemas, I'm guessing I will have to go again Friday or Saturday and that I will maintain this feeling of being full the entire time. I don't know if this qualifies as constipation as this has been my cycle for as long as I can remember. I don't have any difficulty going poop once the time arrives.
Since starting enemas 5 months ago - I originally decided I would make Friday nights my regular enema night - any other enemas over the weekend would be for play - and the rest of the week, I would let nature take it's course. It consistently takes 4 or 5 days before I feel I can actually sit down and poop.
As it turns out, I rarely have the patience to go more than a day or two without one. I do go without one on occasion just to insure that things still work on their own if left alone.
So do I really need the frequent enemas or am I just justifying them in my mind because I like them so much?
I think Cleanbean may have posed an impossible question for SOME of us to answer. For others, I'm sure it will be a no brainer.
