Has anyone been examined by a parent?

Did they examine the rest of you? How did that go?

We re did the scene last weekend as my sister managed to book a studio that had a fully equipped Doctors office set so we were able to do a full head to toe exam

OMG NEVER. That's not a pleasant thought for me. My parents and I are not close.

I will say, however, that lately I've thought back on some of my friend's moms and wondered about them...🤭

Not by a parent or family member but a neighbour of ours was a nurse when I was growing up and my Mum would often ask her to examine me or my sister when we were ill, which was very “enjoyable” when I was older.!!

After discussing my mother’s concern about my foreskin being tight and uncomfortable to fully retract with our family doctor. He suggested, after a lengthy and uncomfortable examination that I did not need circumcision but regular exercising of my foreskin at bathtimes and bedtimes which my mother continued to do throughout puberty to combine with my “development “ inspections. My aunt when visiting became an avid witness to my increased humiliation until my mid teens.

It seems later in life my “master” has renewed these exercises, I wish I hadn’t mentioned it to him!

When I was 18 I had to get a physical for something..I can't remember exactly what it was but I think it was something to do with college. My Dad was a hospital Doctor before he retired. At the time I was really conscious and anxious about seeing a Doctor so he ended up doing my physical. I've changed a lot since then however during Covid I was having some breathlessness and heart palpitations and getting a Doctors appointment was impossible so I ended up going to my Dad again and he checked me over, even though he was retired by then

My dad was a family practice doctor. I went to a different doctor for my exams, because for a whole host of reasons, it’s usually not a good idea for a doctor to be involved in the medical treatment of a close family member. There’s no emotional detachment or objectivity as to symptoms or diagnosis.

All that being said, he did examine me twice when I was a teenager, much to my mortal embarrassment.

The one time it was because I was sick, and the weather was horrible, so rather than drag me out into a snowstorm, he just examined me himself.

The other time was a sports physical when I had completely forgotten to go to the appointment when they were giving them en masse at the school. I just handed Dad the form assuming he would sign it. Boy was I wrong! He decided he would teach me a lesson in being responsible, so he had me go down into his office and he gave me a physical like he would any other patient. And that included the pants down genitalia and hernia checks, as well as the scoliosis exam. I don’t think I could look him in the face for a week afterward I was so embarrassed! But I never and I mean NEVER asked him to pencil-whip a physical exam form after that, and I was never irresponsible enough to blow off the sports physicals at school.

Every time I bathed, my mother washed my penis with soap and retracted my foreskin to clean underneath. She pulled it back as far as it would go.

Then she pulled it back again to dry it thoroughly. I was told it was important that it was dry. When I was old enough to do it myself, I did it under my mother's supervision, but after that, she stopped watching.

What I couldn't avoid, however, was my father's examination after every bath, after I had dried myself and before I got dressed.

First, my testicles were felt (and pinched, why, exactly?) to check that they weren't retracting and that they were in place. From time to time, my penis was moved up and down and from side to side to check its mobility.

Then he finished his examination by retracting the foreskin with two fingers. The foreskin was always pulled back as far as it would go and held in that position, which seemed excessively long to me. Then it was replaced over the glans. He explained to me that the foreskin should be retracted, but also returned to its original position painlessly.

Since I occasionally had erections, it was important to check again that the foreskin retracted properly in this state.

At 10 or 11 years old, I was told I was now old enough and could do it all myself.

My father only checked it once more when I was about 12, and never again after that. And yes, I became embarrassed about it.

During puberty? No examinations, but I was always told that it was very important to report anything that bothered me or if something was wrong.
