When they arrived at his apartment, Max was relieved when he did not spot his glass thermometer on the nightstand. He had luckily put it away when he left for class in the morning. His apartment was really small, and so he offered Paula and Lauren to sit on his bed while he was seated on his desk chair facing the small window.

„Do you have copies of the case study“, he asked in an attempt to break the awkward silence. „I should have it somewhere“, Laura said and opened her bag. „You‘ll look for that paper work“, Paula said, „I need to pee.“ „The bathroom is just there“, Max tried to help, but Paula had already figured it out. His apartment was rather small after all, and there were not too many options.

While Laura had enjoyed their rectal temperature session this past weekend, she still felt awkward and wasn’t sure if she should mention it to Max.
