He arrived a couple of minutes late for class, when he was told that their professor had assigned group work. They were supposed to team up in groups of two, and apparently Lauren and Paula had already agreed to work together. As there were only seven students in class, being late, he would was unable to find someone to team up with. But even before he could raise this point, Paula had already suggested to their professor that Max join Laura and Paula‘s team.

Their assignments was a large case study on a case of investor state arbitration which would take them a couple of days to complete. Their professor had therefore suggested that they could work from home. Paula liked the idea. „Max, we haven’t seen your apartment, would you host us?“ Lauren seconded.
