After a nice dinner and restful night sleep. The couple awakes anxious for what lays ahead today.

Mike and Amber get ready for the day ahead; showers and then breakfast in the hotel lobby before make the short drive onto the post. They arrive at the large hospital and read the instructions from the patient package. It tells them to head to the 4th floor conference room.

They arrive at the conference room to find 5 other couples and 2 more eventually come in. The atmosphere is friendly as the couples engage in some light conversation.

Eventually staff from the hospital come in and start a briefing about the fertility treatment they will receive. A PowerPoint presentation is on the smart board as a fellow in reproductive endocrinology does his presentation along with a resident obgyn and a female medic.

Phone numbers are given to reach the program coordinators.

Then the Power Point focuses on what they can expect, and in graphic detail.

After over two hour of briefings Amber and Mike are shown to a hospital room that is outfitted for Labor and Delivery. The bed appears to be a normal hospital beds, but on closer inspection are stirrups and knee holders.

A young female medic comes into the room and takes vitals on Amber. Then enters her history into a computer.

After endless questions from the medic Amber is given a cloth gown and told to undress completely.

The medic leaves the room and Amber strips in front of Mike with the door closed to the hallway. She places her clothes in a belongings bag which goes on the shelf and takes a seat in the bed.

She is wearing the standard hospital gown, opening in the rear.

A medic comes back in shortly to check on Mike and Amber and says one of the residents will be in shortly to review her history.

A resident appears in the room and discusses her infertility diagnosis, what steps and treatments they have already taken.

The young female medic comes back in the room, and retrieves a tube of surgical lube from a drawer while the resident is still talking. Now the resident lowers the head of the bed slightly without saying a word. She hands a pair of gloves to the resident who tells her that she will do a quick pelvic examination.

Amber bends her knees up as directed by the medic, as the Dr places gloves on her hands and the medic pulls back Amber’s sheets and gown exposing her pubic hair and slit.

The doctor places some lube on her fingers and sits down on the bed next to Amber.

Amber takes a deep breath as the doctor spreads her hairy lips open with one hand and inserts her fingers. Pressing on her stomach the resident feels around for a minute before withdrawing her two fingers.

The resident announces everything seems normal, removes her gloves and tells Amber she will be getting an ultrasound soon. Then will go to radiology for a HSG test.
