Amber is a military spouse who is struggling with getting pregnant and finds that the military has a cheaper option for fertility treatments than the civilian providers. Totally costs don’t exceed $10,000.

Approval is need from her husband’s commander to travel to a large hospital which trains fellows and residents in Reproductive Endocrinology.

The commander approved the travel request for Amber and Mike, and coordination occurs with the local providers before they take the trip which is a few states away. They will be staying in the military hotel at a reduced rate for a few days.

An informational package is sent to them before the trip, but Amber can’t find out too many details. Even after searching the internet there is not much information available to them.

The date comes for the eight hour journey to there temporary home for a few weeks. They pack their suitcases and drive to the hotel where they settled in for the night.
