ATTENTION EVERTBODY:

October 31st there is going to be a huge Halloween Party taking place at the Flames Station. Please stop by for some good family fun from 5-8 pm . There will crafts, games, food, scary stories, and a Halloween costume contest. With a special appearance By ZaBoots, the court jester at around 6 pm and Holly's Haunted hay ride.

Crafts that will be available are Paper Bat Garland, Ghost Garland, Pumpkin Garland, Popsicle Stick Haunted House, Pumpkin Painting, Cravings, Paper plate spiders, and Plenty of Halloween Coloring Pages for all ages.

Games for the evening are Halloween I Spy, Pumpkin Twister, Halloween Bingo, Mummy Bowling, Bobbing for Apples, And Pin The Spider On The Web.

Stories For Halloween that will be read are Five Little Ghosts, Spookley the Square Pumpkin, In a Dark Dark Room and Other Scary Stories.

The party started and was well attended. ZaBoots entertained the crowd by juggling pumpkins, making balloon animals, dancing and telling funny Halloween Jokes.

After ZaBoot's performance, it was time for the Halloween Costume Contest. Prizes were awarded for the Best Costume, Best Couple Costume, Best Family Costume, Funniest, Scariest and Most Original.

The night came to a close with Holly's Haunted Hay Ride. Everyone who wanted to go on the Haunted Hay Ride jumped aboard the horse drawn wagon and away they went. Into the Deep Dark Creepy Forest. Along the way there were people with axes running out at them from behind the trees. They went a little ways further and there were body parts, bones and fake blood everywhere. The last part of the Haunted Hay Ride there were Skeletons and snakes that reached out and touched them as they traveled through to the end of the Hay Ride. When they got to the end and the ride was over Holly had wet hay bales because everyone got spooked out on the Hay Ride.

Halloween has now come to an end and The Flames Station is quieting down and being cleaned up and trucks put back in the station and horses tucked in the barn and fed until they are needed for the next Call to Duty.
