As soon as they got home, Dan started to unpack the suppositories and made them organized on the clear shelves in the living room. “I’m assuming you haven’t eaten. I can make some pasta for the both of us, are you allergic to anything?” Dan asked.

“I can help you cook!” Sharon volunteered. “And no, I’m not allergic to anything.”

“You’re the patient here at least for a week, I’ll take care of you. Go unpack your stuff and shower properly before coming out. Towels are in the cabinets above the sink, feel free to use them,” Dan said as he immediately shoved her into the room.

Dan started cooking as he heard Sharon in the shower, seriously this kid is too hard on herself. When Sharon was done, the pasta was also done. They both sat down and had a good meal together, and Sharon was really thankful for everything he has done for her.

“Now, dry your hair and do some homework. I’ll see you in your room in an hour for your medication,” Dan said as they were finishing up.

Sharon blushed. “You really don’t…” She muttered and looked down as she almost forgot why she was staying in this house.

“Now off you go,” Dan said as he took the dishes to the sink and started doing the dishes.

An hour passed and Dan knocked on her door with the trolley of instruments he needed for the night routine. Sharon opened the door shyly after a few more knocks.

“You’ll be good to go to bed in 45 minutes,” Dan said as he looked at his clock. It was 8:30.
