@Svensson ,
To answer your question: I was in my 30s. The physician was a woman also in her 30s. She was , I believe of Greek descent. An attractive female. On my initial visit she talked with me and explained that she took rectal temperatures on her patients. She inquired if I was comfortable with having my temperature taken rectally. I told her I was and actually preferred it taken that way. We finished our introductory discussion and my history then began the exam.
She had me strip down to my briefs. I had my height & weight taken. Next I sat on the exam table and she took my blood pressure and pulse. After the weight, height, BP and pulse which she put on my chart, she stated, time to get your temperature or let’s get your temperature. I think it was ”let’s… and after, it too was put in my chart.
With that she told me to lay on my stomach on the examining table. As soon as I got in position, she pulled my briefs down and off. She opened a drawer in a nearby cabinet next, removed a foil packet and a thermometer which she very rapidly and intently shook down, then held it up, reading it. A glass mercury type. After opening the packet of lubricant she dipped the bulb into it, pulled it out and walked over to the table standing astride but just below my buttocks which she began spreading. A cool rush of air hit my anal opening followed by the lubed bulb entering and being slightly inserted. Then she let my buttocks close on the instrument and I guess it was three minutes it was in. She removed it, wiped it off and read it. As said, she put that in my chart too.
After the temperature taking (that I got every visit) she commenced the rest of the exam. I’d had my RT by medical employees , female, previously so this was no big deal. Now, had I not had a female take it rectally I might when having it done, got aroused. I didn’t with her. Hope that answers your questions.
