If you're healthy, everything beyond the last quarter inch or so of your urinary tract is sterile. Sterile, not sanitary, not disinfected, STERILE. It's almost a sure thing you'll get a urinary tract infection. This is not a benign thing, it can cause permanent damage.

How can you tell if you got urinary tract infection? I haven't done sounding for more than a year but when I was doing it (deep sounding) the only negative effect I had was temporary - it was hurting me while I was pee for 2-3 days and after that.. gone, nothing, not a sign.
