Diapers and alternatives

I have been wearing diapers since I was 13. That's for five years. My mom has gotten me different kinds to try to find the ones that are most comfortable and protective. I've been wearing medium weight disposables. I always wear plastic panties with diapers. My mom found some that were fairly thin but strong. They fit very snug so that it sort of looks like I'm wearing regular underwear. I wear a diaper every night and often during the day. A couple summers ago I found that wearing a diaper and plastic panties to be quite warm at times. I shared a bedroom with my step sister and usually I'd just wear my diaper and no pajamas just like she'd usually wear a t-shirt and panties. Anyway, i asked my mother to find a way for me to have protection during the day but be cooler. She asked a couple of her friends whose kids also wore diapers. One day she said she had something we'd try. She had bought me three pair of nylon panties and had gotten a box of feminine overnight pads. She showed me how to put the pad in the panties and had me try them on. I've been wearing that combo since for coolness and also for comfort. Its up to me to me able to sense if I'll need a diaper during the day or panties. I like that alternative because is cooler but I also like wearing panties.
