What enema equipment do you wish existed?

Hi all,

My wish for enema equipment availability: would be to be able to go to a chemist and buy a good closed enema bag with a closed top and rubber hose and curved douche nozzle Bakelite.

To be able to buy a good Red Rubber bulb 8 ounce capacity with a bat style nozzle.

I don't like the open top style bags or the cheap black bulbs they offer in Australia

Bring back the good old days when you could go to a chemist and get good products.😉

I once had a 40 French open end colon tube. I had it marked at 10 inches for insertion. It wore out and it is impossible to find a colon tube of that size.

The Sherema 4 quart red rubber bag. It was a classic.

I think I could cum up with a lot if ideas but my number one idea kind of existings in parts but not as a single component. Let's start with a butt plug enema nozzle that vibrates... but also has a small pump that forces water in under a gentle pressure (similar to a good bulb enema). The plug is attached to a larger bag, inserted and turned on.... it vibrates for a bit then stops. Then it "shoots" about a cup of water into your behind..then stops... vibrations start again... and this cycle repeats until the bag is empty.... then turn off the plug and the orifice closes... then turn on vibrate only mode for the grand finale/happy ending!

I still use the bag I bought from Klystra ages ago. The double balloon nozzle they sold was solid, but ran its course. I found a knock-off on Aliexpress that didn't burst after the first use, so that's a win.

Not sure about the "Original" one, but I considered making one for a while now. A quick internet search says that it's 6.5 quarts - does that sound correct?

Nothing in particular, Alex, all quite titillating especially the variety of nozzles that were included with the combination and fountain syringe kits and douche bulbs. Arthur Hamilton sold a variety of enema supplies and videos mail order or over the phone in the 80's and early 90's. He advertised in several fetish/porno mags. Not sure of the capacity of the original JBL but 6.5 sounds massive! Always wanted to take a ride on one of those!

My wish list is quite simple:

1) A good quality real rubber bag of about 2-1/2 quarts, like the old Davol, Goodrich, or Faultless bags.

2) The amber latex bags. Not necessarily a better enema, but the looks of the full bag is really nice.

3) A JBL. I never experienced that one, but it looks like fun.

Would that be a double balloon nozzle, or something different? I thought about a retention nozzle without the inflation, but I'm not sure what that would look like. Curious to hear how you imagine this!

A lot of the enema gear mentioned here we were able to acquire when we were buddies with Klystra and the other enema supply outfits. In hindsight, I am glad we built up a collection given the parity of good gear being made. That said, there is one thing I wish they would make:

A modern version of the glass and metal enema device seen in the Berliner Watercolors. We have a real one, but a large volume, modern iteration with plastics and upgrades would be divine. Plus, the nozzles would have to look the part but be considerably bigger than originals to please people like us. Finally, a glass blower should make rectal thermometers that are a bit larger and thicker than real vintage ones, so it shows up great on photos and feels bigger when it in your bottom.

A three-quart pumpkin douche/enema bag like my grandmother had. I received enemas from it a number of times and it excited me, but at the same time, it scared me too death.

A high quality red rubber bag, either combination or open top, with red tubing and black vaginal and rectal tips. It would be really nostalgic.

@Alex_von_Trust I'll be your first customer and yes, it was 6,5 quarts but I think everything over 4 quarts would be fine.

2 1/2 to 3 quart latex travel syringe, similar to the Davol Travelfold or Goodrich Sojourn bags made in the 50's and 60's.

First time post, recent lurker, and now joined. My mind is still spinning from all the information available here. On this subject I would like to see the JBL

item revived. I think 3 to 4 qts capacity would be enough. Maybe a few choices of different nozzles. All in all it seems like a simple method of administering and enema.

I would also like to use a JBL

If someone could find a way to re-create that amber BF Goodrich Sojourn bag, you could buy your own island. I’ve been amazed seeing how many people here were given enemas with that thing as a kid and want to own another one.

Actually, what I "wish existed" in pharmacies today is a good choice of a quality fountain syringe, combination bag, bulb or plunger syringe, rectal and colon tube, and other accessories. And where there's a retired nurse who will quietly explain and assist in selecting the just the right "equipment" to meet our health needs and desires.

I say this because of my experience 40 years ago in a medical supply store when as a young newlywed I met a lovely lady who helped me select a fountain syringe, combo bag to use as a hot water bottle, rectal tube, and even a glass connector so I could attach the tube to the fountain syringe hose. I was shy at first to ask for help, but she was so nice, and I learned so much from her.

She assured me that I would feel comfortable giving myself enemas when I needed them. We hugged, and she wished me a life of good health. How many people would do that today?

Having a totalizer that would register the ounces or milliliters of fluid would be nice. My wife liked the old 2 quart latex bags, she thought they were sexy but the last one broke a few years back.

I wish someone would invent a larger or oversized version of the standard douche nozzle that comes with drug store kits. Maybe with a 1.5” or 2” bulb and n the front and about 10” long. Triple points if it were made out of a medium firmness silicon.

AbleBaker you are way too late. large / very large douche nozzles were available 1960s and before.

Have you looked at siliconenozzles.com? They have more things than anyone else has ever thought of!

@one-eyes yes they have some great products. But, they don’t make precisely something shaped like the larger nozzle here:
