When I don the gloves and you hear the snap you know you about to be examined and know what will happen. No one has asked me or commented about the gloves except the color.
When I was younger it was always latex gloves, but now this day in age someone is allergic to something so nitrile exam gloves it is.
Yes, as others have said, due to allergies, I think Nitrile should be the glove of choice. That's what I imagine myself using if I ever got the chance to be the doctor in an exam!
I also love latex, but it's hard to find an office that uses them anymore due to possible allergy. I love the smell of latex and the look and feel. Mom had a latex fountain syringe with latex hose that I got many enemas with and I loved the feel and smell of latex.
My mom since she is a nurse got these purplish blue gloves from Safeway. I am salavating, lol! Much prettier than my blue ones from Wal-Mart, but a bit more expensive probably, haha.HUGS, Megan
I like non-existent gloves best ? To me, there's nothing more sensual than flesh-on-flesh, skin-on-skin contact. Gloves - whatever the material - get in the way of so much. But I do think I'm definitely in the minority on this one 😃
For me, I like blue, purple or black nitrile gloves. For the non intimate parts of the exam, I prefer soft, gentle hands.
Generally I think I would like the latex gloves the best. But I'm talking about like the old school Brown surgical looking latex Gloves. Other than that any sort of darker blue nitrile glove is nice
Definitely the finger cot!It highlights the shape of the finger, so you can almost feel it jiggling inside you before you're even asked to open your ass!In some way it makes the finger look like a long suppository. And it leaves no doubt on where it is going to end, contrary to regular gloves, that are also used in less invasive procedures.
Latex (white/cream) are easily my favorite - they have a unique scent/taste/feel. I like nitrile almost as much, in almost any color (blue is quite common, very clinical, white is nice and traditional, pink can be interesting. Black to me feels too non-clinical). Vinyl can be interesting as well - to me it kinda conveys the "This is going to be messy" feeling.Gloved hands are always a turn on, without discrimination 😉.
If I had to pick a type of glove material for play exams (my husband and I never use gloves for play exams) I would always choose latex.
I guess I'm rather ignorant on this topic, but why does everybody have their favorites and what's different between the materials? Does one feel better to the patient or doctor, smell, durability, fit, or just looks? I know there can be an allergy to at least one of the different materials, so that part makes sense to me. I've just never really thought about this before, I didn't know people might have a preference of one over another. When I think exam gloves, I just think of the doctor snapping on "rubber" gloves.
I guess I'm rather ignorant on this topic, but why does everybody have their favorites and what's different between the materials? This is similar to why do people prefer one brand of condom over another. They just feel different and you use what you like.
@docv saidFirst time I have to agree with susieREALLY???After all these years, only the FIRST time? 😁
I normally use latex unless there is an allergy issue then I will use blue nitrile. For the sexual part of the play exam I prefer not to use gloves at all....
why does everybody have their favorites and what's different between the materials? When I think exam gloves, I just think of the doctor snapping on "rubber" gloves. The primary emotion that the doctor donning gloves during an annual physical exam is that it alerts the patient that the innocuous parts of the examination are over and the humiliating part is coming. In my experience, by far the commonest sequence has been vital signs, head and neck, axillae, heart and lungs, neurological are done seated. The transition in the exam turning toward the embarrassing portion comes next when I have been told to lie on my back, with the doctor pulling out the foot extension on the table. Then comes abdominal palpation and auscultation. All these parts of the exam are done with the doctor’s bare hands. As I am lying supine on the table and after the doctor is done with the abdominal, he either opens a drawer in the side of the table or goes over to a counter and fetches a pair of gloves. He dons the gloves, ideally with a “snapping” sound as they pop into place and begins to ready himself to give instructions for the positioning and exposure for the big reveal of the genitalia. So you get the auditory quality of the gloves snapping, the visual quality that the doctor is protecting the hygiene of his hands as they are about to touch your genitals, and the subjective message that the easy parts and the humbling parts are separate. Latex are best because you get the “snap” you do not get with nitrile.
. Latex are best because you get the “snap” you do not get with nitrile.I agree and I think they are thinner as well. Bare fingers are much more sensitive but gloves are good in the context of an exam.
I remember old times when rubber gloves were thick and coarse. It was very hard to get them and they were very expensive.Today we have latex gloves in every corner of the house, I prefer Latex in white or cream, they have a unique scent, taste, feel and snapping sound of rubber gloves. The "snap" is mandatory in my examinations.
I use black nitrile just because have lots of those around the house I use to restock my jump bag. What we use on our EMS service. Don’t have to worry about allergy issues this way.
I prefer latex because they fit better and afford more sensitivity, but always have nitrile gloves available because some women are allergic to latex so always make sure to ask first.
Here where I live the most used are those of latex unless the patient has allergy there they use the nitrilicas
I strongly prefer latex gloves. I love hearing the snapping sound as the doc puts them on cause I know he’s about to touch my private areas. Always gets me aroused.
Well for me, gloves are where it all started and gloves are without a doubt my favourite part. For an everyday play exam, it has to be latex, powder free & textured. The slightly cream/yellow ones. They smell & feel amazing. Everything about them is a huge turn on.For a treat, the single wrapped sterile surgical gloves in the tradition white/cream colour are another level! The silky smooth feeling of sterile surgical gloves.... okay I think I need a cold shower lol
