"Guys, if the person who tells you to undress and put on a gown leaves the exam room, do you take off your undershorts or leave them on?"
Depends if they tell me to leave them on or remove my underwear too. For a colonoscopy, i take them off. For a physical, I'm told i can leave my underwear on, i leave my jockstrap on and leave the gown open.
If you take them off, do you leave them where the examiner can see them so he/she knows they are off or leave them out of sight?
If I took off my jockstrap/underwear, i'd leave it on top of the pile of clothes, as it would be the 1st thing I'd put on when it's time to get dressed again.
If any of you choose to leave them on, why do you do this?
Doing what i feel I'm being told to do (leave them on), as if to satisfy my part in their procedure. The doctor does not routinely check my genitals or for hernia. Even though I take off my jock for the rectal/prostate exam when prompted to do so, i still leave the jock / underwear on, because I think it can potentially give off an unwanted aggressive vibe that i went ahead and stripped off my underwear when i didn't have to. And of course, it would be awkward to leave the gown open, as that would be a dead giveaway to my exhibitionism. And especially when he husband practices in the next room, it would not be a good idea. besides, i am more comfortable showing off my jockstrap with an open gown than being nude with an open gown and coming off as a perv, or having a closed gown, what's the point.
Are you concerned that the doctor will be angry at your failure to strip all the way?"
Does not apply, as i am an exhibitionist, so I have no problem removing all upon command/request to do so.
