I have probably twenty stethoscopes and three or four blood pressure cuffs. Used to have an old OR monitor but it shorted out a while back. Also came into an old Lifepack defibrillator from an old ambulance that unfortunately doesn't work either!

This is another part of medical fetish I just don't understand I guess. First of all, and again, remember that I absolutely do not have a cardiac or steth fetish at all. I own 3 stethoscopes which is all anyone really needs. All three are Littmanns. I have the one I got when I graduated from nursing school from my parents, I have the one Doc gave me which is a drug rep item. Yeah, good luck ever prying that out of my cold dead hands, lol. Then I have a peds scope that my neighbor had. I have 2 blood pressure cuffs, both electric wrist cuffs. One was given to me as a gift, and the other one I bought because I thought I had lost my first one.See for me because I specialize in vent/trach's when I worked a strictly vent/trach unit I was doing CPR at least 3 times a week. I have felt a heart stop, and I have caused them to start beating again. For me cardiac related stuff is very serious and that is one area I just can't seem to cross over into my play. Is it part of my exams, yes absolutely, but I just can't see anything sexual about a beating heart.More power to all of you who get off on cardiac stuff though.Mashie
Post 22 "14 steths and 19 BP cuffs? Can you all say obsession! I'm not sure how you all find this sexually stimulating. But if that works for you then more power to you. I just don't get it. I like med fet play also, but messing around with the heart. The "carbueator" of this great "machine" that we call the human body. NADA! that's just off limits. I hope you all are not messing around with those defibs. I mean it's one thing to slide a rectal thermometer in, The embarassment of having to bare the most private part of your body to someone else. Then submit to perhaps having your most private function controlled by someone else. Pretty difficult, although not impossible, to mess someone up by giving them an enema or a digital rectal exam. AGAIN, like anything else good old common sense must come into play. But messing with something electrical that you are not qualified to operate is just plain old over the edge! FOR GOD SAKES KIDS! PLAY SAFE!
To clarify, the defibrillator would have been nice for its monitor function. I have no desire to shock anyone unless it's a real cpr situation.
I have nothing but my girlfriend is a nurse and she has like 5 stethoscopes and has like 2 different BP cuffs when we play, know she has her stethoscopes she uses when we play and the ones she uses for work the very expensive ones with the "L" on them that she loves!.
I just added a Welch Allyn Harvey DLX triple-head stethoscope to my collection. The chestpiece is very heavy as you'd expect, but the sound quality is great. I'd say it's as good as a Littmann Cardiology III.
I've got 3 littmanns...Pearl pink se Classic IIBlack cardio IIIBurgundy electronic 3100Also a navy Welch Allyn Harvey DLX and just recently added an ADC teaching stethoscope with royal blue and black tubing/headsetsThen 2 bp cuffs... A regular two tube manual cuff and an "all in one" cuff. Plus a finger pulse ox, pocket fetal Doppler and my newest addition a small handheld EKG 😃
I'm not really into cardiac studies and auscultation, but I do have a fairly good quality stethoscope that I used to use for taking blood pressure.Several weeks ago I got a Nonin 7500 pulse oximeter and Welch Allyn ProBP 2400 blood pressure monitor because I was mummifying my husband for 48 hours with shrink wrap and duct tape.Being in our mid forties, we wanted better, safer equipment to monitor vital signs than we had when we did the scene last time when we were in our mid thirties, which by comparison, were practically toys.Accidentally killing your spouse in a bondage scene when he takes good care of the family does not make for good family relations. 😁 😁 😁
Accidentally killing your spouse in a bondage scene when he takes good care of the family does not make for good family relations.Yeah, it can ruin your whole day, and the paperwork! Such a headache! We have a Critikon combination blood pressure and pulse ox monitor, as well as an ancient Tektronix EKG monitor with a strip recorder, I addition to the usual stethoscope and wrist BP cuff. Have the old mercury BP on the wall, too.Doc
