Scientific Roleplay

I work in biomedical research and have gotten a fair bit of training in how physiology and anatomy studies are carried out. Something about the precise nature of the work along with hooking up instruments to people reminds me of medicine. Anyone else think that a scene involving the play patient being a scientific subject would be fun? It could involve a bunch of interesting components like EKGs, BP, or respiration data just name a few of the possibilities.

I like where you're going with this. My fantasy is more surgical based, but definitely to volunteer as a test subject for research for some surgical procedures would be ideal.

In my world of fantasy, I love the idea of some type of research study. I like the thought of unknowingly volunteering for such a study and then finding out that it's much more than you really bargained for. But by then, you're committed and can't back out. Oh yes. My absolute favorite role play scenario. Like JimmyJohn, I've signed up for much more than I bargained for. Actually getting me hot just thinking about it.

I love this angle on the traditional exam scenario. Being able to roleplay in the environment of a scientific study really opens up the posibilities for extended examination of the patient and the use of multiple positions. Having the added element of the "scientific evaluation" can help set the mood and the tone, working to establish that the patient is there to allow the medical staff full access to their body - ramping up the sense of releasing control of their body to the doctor. Many people like this aspect of an exam and being "studied" is a great way to expand on it. Also with this scene, many times things liek ekg pads, body measurements, temperature taking, and other forms of body monitoring can easily be incorporated in play.

I would find this incredibly sexy. The more professional and scientific and dispassionate a scene, the sexier it is for me.

Definitely love this idea, especially if there's a lot of invasive tests. Hopefully a lot of discomfort and pain too, all "in the name of science". Like other peeps mentioned, this is a great way to prolong an exam by doing the same tests several times, and allows for some creative license while still feeling authentic.

As a 58 yo Overweight Gay Guy with Type 2 Diabetes, a Heart condition, Parathyroid and many other ailments, I would relish the extensive tests.

The scientific roleplay scenario really does give you some creative license - but at the same time, keeping things realistic and clinical are key to creating the right mood. Keeping things just slight beyond what would normally happen...just pushing the bounds a bit.

One thing that has worked well for me in play exams like this is to dictate notes about the patient or test subject. Sometimes hearing yourself being described in such detached and clinical terms can really make an impact - the patient realizing that they are there to be analyzed and inspected. Often times I'll do this at the start of the study roleplay, having the patient standing nude for a visual anatomical inspection. Walking in small circles around her, I write notes and dictate my observations...her hearing herself described in such detail...knowing that things will only get more invasive as the study continues.

I love the idea of being "used" for scientific purposes. I've been having this fantasy about going for a regular physical exam which turns out to be something completely different.

I'm going to this fancy medical facility. The waiting room looks more like a lounge. A few other ladies before me are being processed by very good looking nurses. Some are completely naked, some in the process of being undressed. All that happens in front of everyone else.

You can imagine my shock, anxiety and embarassement as my name is being called in.

Two nurses are taking my vitals, weigh me, help me take my clothes off and then I am being escorted in another part of the facility behind locked doors where only authorized personnel has acces.

While walking along the cold corridors, I hear all kinds of moans, groans, sounds from all those exam rooms. At this point I can only imagine what is going on over there but there is nothing I can do.

I am being invited to a room and being told to lay on the exam table. I'm completely exposed, anxious and have no idea what is going to happen to me.

The same nurses that took me in, are now strapping me, covering my eyes, drapping me and after a while I hear voices...Several doctors are in, talking about me, and taking turns at doing whatever procedures they want.

There is nothing I can do at this point but endure everything and hope it will all be over soon.

I usually incorporate a "scientific" element into my exams. After the general physical exam and pelvic exam have been completed, I announce to the patient, "Your anatomy has been examined completely, but your function has not yet been examined. I am now going to perform functional evaluation of each of your erogenous zones to make sure that they all are functioning properly".

I then attach wrist and ankle cuffs and clip them to chains that run under the bed. Wrists apart, ankles apart. I test to make sure that her nipples erect symmetrically. Then I check that each of them is equally arousable by finger stimulation. Then oral stimulation.

She has to move into lithotomy position with her bottom at the edge of the bed. Right ankle is clipped to right wrist. Same on the left. Her knees are flexed and well apart. Now maximum clitoral length must be measured after full stimulation. Vaginal lubrication has to be evaluated. Clitoral orgasm must be carefully compared to G-spot orgasm.

It takes a long time to do all of this evaluation! Science is demanding.

I wouldn't mind this at all! It'd be even better if actual data were collected... for science!

I remember an ad I saw on Craigslist about 7 or 8 years ago that was a clinical study of a new bowel medicine or treatment. It said all rectal exams, enemas and medications were covered along with $100 volunteer fee for time and travel. I guess it sounded too good to be true, so I never signed up. I wonder if it was a legitimate study or not.

Stupidly when I was a medical student I volunteered to be a subject for a study comparing marijuana and alcohol. Another subject and I were studied consuming one or the other in front of a one way mirror. The other subject was a total idiot off the street. I remember thinking to myself why in hell did I volunteer for this? I was offered a study on LSD but sensibly declined. Sometimes I'm simply amazed at how gullible I am for participating in the first one.

I did love them Jimmy. I saw them start Backdoor Man without Jim. He came striding out smoking a huge blunt. He then threw it into the audience, threw the mike he was holding high into the air caught it as the spiral of the coiled cord fell around him and screamed "I'M A BACK DOOR MAN!" Without missing a beat. It was very impressive.

I don't look half that good now. Ha ha I remember the Fabulous Furry Freak Brothers well. I liked the one where they were arrested while high. They got one phone call and they ordered pizza.

Another nice aspect of a scientific roleplay scene is that it can be a single test subject and doctor/medical team or it can be done as a group of patients/test subjects. Also co-ed makes for a nice twist. So many different variations are possible and even somewha plausible when looked at from the perspective of a scientific study. Much opportunity for fantasy as play!

What I would love as an aspect of scientific role-play, would be a very thorough and complete set of measurements made of the body and the sexual organs. Maybe accompanied by photos as well.

And body measurement would not only include the obvious things such as length, height, length of arms, legs etc., but also distances between body parts; for instance nipple to nipple, navel to anus and so on. The list is only limited by one's fantasy. In fact, around the end of the 19th and beginning of the 20th century, making extensive measurements of the body and then calculating proportions and ratios was quite popular in some branches of ethnic anthropology or physiognomy. Many extensively illustrated books with accompanying diagrams and photos were published, some with great success it must be said. I've always found this idea to be fascinating and arousing.

I totally agree with the option to include detailed measurements of the body. Done in a scientific and clinical manner, having the patient submit to various measurements can really add to the intensity of the process. Imagine how the patient would feel as they were literally put on display - standing or laying nude as they prepared to have their bodies measured and cataloged. Must be an intense moment as the patient sees the measuring tapes, guages, and calipers that will be used. Very hot.
