Yes, I agree! It's the symbolism on one hand, and on the other hand, it's the association, which connects the Stethoscope to the female heart, her breasts, her body... It's the typical phaenomenon of a (sexual) fetish: The objects makes you think of the part of the body you love most. Bra/breasts, shoes/feet, panties/butt etc - all fetish objects, and Stethoscopes, but not limited to. And thus, the object itself becomes "sexy" in my opinion. So, a vaginal speculum becomes a fetish object, when you imagine its purpose ;-)

The black stethoscope is the most sexy to me because it is most authentic. I really am no fan of different color stethoscopes or stethoscope accessories. I am huge fan of black Littmanns so I do appreciate the thick tubing and big diaphragm. Small head stethoscopes or el cheapo models are a bit of a turnoff.

Obviously I love the way the stethoscope is draped around my nurse or doctor. I like the way the diaphragm lays on her chest as she cares for me. I love the way she tilts her head and sometimes closes her eyes as she puts in the earpieces. I also love the way she holds over my brachial artery as the cuff is inflated. I love the sound of the stethoscope coming off my chest as she goes from valve to valve.

I love my steel-looking steth. I always rub it before using it, so it looks more shining and draws attention. My steth that leads women to anxiety when they watch it 'cause it is without bell, heavy steel made and very chilly on bare skin. I also put it near an ice-box to make it icy.

I would say that it is the way the female looks rocking one. The way they take it from around their neck and put it in their ears while they have a serious look on their face.

It also makes one "sexy" when a doctor is examining a female patient and does the above mentioned motions as well. Having them breathe in and out.

Oh definitely. I still enjoy being stethed if it's a warm one, which it usually is in a real exam these days, but you can't beat having that ice cold feeling of metal onto bare skin.

Me, too! The Sprague is pretty good for being cold. It doesn't have the non chill ring. It's heavy, too, which I like.

I'm in the ER with a migraine, and I've never been examined by this good looking doctor before.
