The doctor puts it back the wrong way

Question, mostly for guys but for ladies as well: if a doctor is examining you and pulls your underwear down and then back up, but your penis ends up in the wrong position, do you fix it right then or leave it until after the exam is over? When I was younger, one year I had a genital exam but no hernia exam. I was lying on my back, and the doctor pulled down the waistband of my underwear. I usually have my penis pointing down in my underwear, but when the doctor pulled my underwear back up, he placed my penis pointing up towards my belly button. This was very uncomfortable for the rest of the exam, but I was afraid to adjust it until after he left the room.

I fix it there and then why be uncomfortable till you get out of the doctor's surgery .

I don't think I've ever had a doctor pull my underwear back up. But nevertheless, there is no wrong way -- it's all good.

I never remove or replace underwear at work unless the patient is in extremis. To do so would be presumptuous and could be interpreted as an assault I think.

This does not qualify as a problem or a big deal by any stretch of the imagination.

If it points the wrong way, either put it where you like it or just leave it until the end.

This is making a mountain out of a molehill.

Why would the doctor pull your underwear up? And even if he did, just fix your junk and be done with it. The doctor sure doesn't care if you adjust your junk...he was just looking at it anyways! It's not like you're giving up any more modesty adjusting things. Meh.

Why is this a problem? Do you think that this a big deal? C'mon folks let's cowboy up on this one!

This whole thing seems a tad odd as I've never had physician remove or pull up my underwear. If that we're to ever be the case though I'd adjust myself. I don't even know why it'd be awkward at that point considering someone else was just checking it out.

I changed pediatricians when I was age 11 and saw him until I went away to college at age 18. He was the first doctor who actually had my briefs down to fully expose the genitalia. I saw him annually for sports exams. The first two years he examined me, he pulled down the front of my briefs himself and got them down to fully expose the penis and scrotum but did not pull them out from under my buttocks. I slightly lifted my head to see what he was doing and recall clearly that my penis was lying pointed upward on my abdomen. He lifted the penis and I suppose was inspecting the head but definitely spread the meatus apart. When he was finished with the head of my penis he set it down in the same position it was in when he exposed it and then moved in to the testicular exam. In retrospect, it would have been exciting if he had positioned it pointed downward so that it would have been an uncomfortable reminder of my humiliating experience.
