Yes I would. The plastic tapes disposable diapers. Would not matter who, age, or gender. I really would be fine with it. My only real concern is that the diapers cart that comes around changes your diaper when it arrives, no matter when that is. Sometimes that is during “visiting hours”. I can not tell you the many times over the years I have seen patients in their diapers. I know it’s a very busy place, but, wish they would not come change your diaper while visitors are there. They move the curtain closed for the actual diaper change, but, I have seen many in their diapers. And worse, they openly, verbally, will ask, “ how your diaper, do you need me to change you?”
They really should make sure no visitors are in that particular shared room for either patient, but they don’t. When the diaper cart gets there, it’s there, and they check to see if it’s changing time. And recently, I even heard the nurse, an older woman, talk to the man like he was 7. “ Have you been a good boy today” the man was in his late 50s and did correct her.
Unfortunately, me being me, and how I am, I’d like it and really would go right along with her. But disagree with talking to a man in his late 50s, in disposable diapers, like that. Do not feel that was appropriate, and me, right there in the room at the time, to clearly hear it. Again, busy busy place, but, should do better with that.
