I analyzed the Thread on enema Volumes to establish the following percentages for Enema users on this Forum:
Usual Volume Used (Quarts) ..1../ ..2 /...3 /...4 / ..5 / ..6
Percentages of 250 members .1../ 22 / 30 / 40 / ..2 / ..5
I decided to exclude maximum quantities used, because often this was reached during a single episode after which unpleasant side effects were experienced. I also ignored claims of volumes used of over 6 quarts, because, in my opinion, this involves irresponsible behavior, with the risk of herniation, perforation or electrolyte imbalances.
I would guess that among the general population who still use enemas, 2 quarts would be the most frequently used quantity. It is interesting to note that for the majority (70%) of enema users on this Forum who contributed to this thread, from 3 to 4 quarts are usually used. This means that either 4 quart bags, ordered on-line were used or that 2 quart bags are given and re-filled for each enema.
I welcome any comments on my observations.
