Urethral Stretcher

Hi all,

I would like to buy an "Urethral Stretcher" to go into stretching ... anybody has any experience with this? How long does it take? Length of sessions? etc.

OK, now what are your expectations?

I would expect if you used that to any extent, you would have such a spray or dribble on your urine stream that you would have to sit down to urinate--or pee all over yourself.

That urethral stretcher sure appears to have some novelty. Like a speculum for the urethra. But if I were to ever get into urethra widening, I would rather use penis plugs of gradually increasing diameter. These are usually around two inches in length. Most penis plugs have a hole through them so you can still urinate or ejaculate with them inserted.

Just my two cents. I do not have any experience with urethral play, at least not yet, so only take my advice with a grain of salt.

This is much more of a BDSM toy than something for body modification. With just 2 points of contact, tissue tearing is more likely than stretching.

If it were me, I'd invest in a good set of surgical stainless steel sounds.

Good point, Jds. The fact that there are only two points of contact on this device is why I mentioned that I would rather use penis plugs instead, if I ever wanted to widen my urethra.

It's very dangerous to have a penis plug inserted while you have sex. If you thrust the wrong way, you could puncture your urethra as your penis bends. . . . Maybe not if you fuck in a subdued gentlemanly manner, but if you go at it hard and with wild abandon, you could cause a lot of damage.

I might not have realized that because many of the sites that sell penis plugs say they can be worn during sex, just because they have a thru-hole. I will certainly heed your warning. If I ever happen to buy a penis plug, I will never wear it during sex!

I don't have any physiological experience with this, but I can tell you that water will shoot farther out of a narrow garden hose than a wide diameter one.

It could cause a problem with dribbling when urinating because the normally flat urine stream is the result of urine pressure and the shape of the navicular fossa and urethral meatus. Lowered pressure/velocity due to a widened urethra might cause dribbling/spraying.

Ok.. just so I'm backed by experience.. anyone on the forum that has stretched their urethra so that its no longer able to shoot a load, or piss correctly? If so where was the cross over point in mm thickness?

When I was into urethral insertion & play I used crochet hooks (the handle end) knitting needles (aluminum) plastic medicine droppers. To hold a dilator in place in the penis, use four x half inch wide and six inch long strips of tape. Place four inches of tape along the shaft of penis and then wrap the other two inches around the catheter, crochet hook or commercial dilator. Repeat so you have four strips. Wrap another strip circumferencially around the shaft just behind the glans. Sooner or later when dilating, it may hurt. I got to 28 FR--just over 9 mm diameter. I had no trouble with urine stream. I quit regular play a couple years ago. Recently when trying to insert a catheter, I found my urethra shrank back to 22FR.

As far as ejaculation is concerned, the nozzle size (size of urethra) isn't going to affect the purpose of ejaculation, which is to get the semen into the vagina--whence the sperms swim by themselves to the egg). One inserts penis all the way in; then the semen gets right into vagina and cervix. One does not need to squirt it 3 feet into the air. Whether the semen shoots with force and speed to go 3 feet or dribbles out, the semen should be right at the opening of the cervix.

From a females point of view re: men stretching.

I can only imagine that a large bore urethra will cause a man's come to be vastly reduced in exit velocity. No problem during regular sex, but damn, it's sexy when a man shoots come all over my boobs, or sometimes my face! Not so sexy when a guy says 'Let me stand over you, and dribble some cum'.

Stretching the meatus urethrae externus and the urethra are 2 construction sites.

The best way to stretch the Meatus urethrae externus is with a penis plug with a longitudinal hole. So that the plug can remain inserted permanently. Method. Insert a plug that just goes into the meatus into the urethral navicular fossa. After about 2 weeks the plug will come out easily. Because the meatus has stretched due to the constant stimulus to stretch. Then you can insert a plug that is 0.5mm larger. After 2 weeks the next and so on. With this method I can now insert an 18mm penis plug.

To stretch the urethra from the urethral fossa navicularis. It is best to take Hegar dilators, approx. 19 cm long, which can be easily inserted through the prostate. Resistance to insertion can cause some urethral narrowing (strictures) and prostate entrance. These obstructions must be passed carefully to avoid injury. Cleanliness is absolutely essential to avoid infection. Disinfect the dilator and a sterile lubricant is necessary. I use Xylocaine Gel 2%. That's called sounding. After frequent use, the urethra will get used to it and the initial disturbances will no longer occur, so that the pleasant feelings will prevail. After some time you can use the next dilator, which is 0.5mm thicker, to stretch the urethra. How quickly you can use the next size depends on the frequency of use and the stretching time (1-2 hours), but it is very tedious. It's relatively harmless as long as you don't penetrate the bladder. Because you can easily damage the bladder sphincter and thus trigger incontinence. In addition, you then no longer have clean urine to flush the urethra. That's why I usually only sound up through the prostate and don't penetrate the urinary bladder. With this method I have been able to insert a 13mm so far. After the prostate, the urethra makes a 90° angle upwards, which can easily be passed with a Van Buren dilator, a flexible dilator or with a catheter in order to reach the urinary bladder. You can also use a Hegar dilator, but then you have to push the penis down.

That's why I usually only sound up through the prostate and don't penetrate the urinary bladder.

would this be a valid method for alleviating slow and difficult urination due to prostate enlargement? Although probably not, as I presume prostate tissue would press and collapse the urethra nevertheless when nothing is inserted.

I am not fascinated by the screws stretcher in the link. It is not a medical instrument. I would discourage anyone to use something like that. Better use urethral sounds of different sizes and types. So did my play doc first time I get something inside my penis. If you need something regulable with a screw I suggest a Killian nasal speculum carefully inserted and slowly expanded.

I have had to be "stretched" / opened up several time's now to have larger catheters fitted .

My urologist used Guyon sounds , Starting with one size smaller than what I take with the present catheter , increasing to one size larger then the size I need to be moved up to . Looking at it , It bring's to mind jokes very young boys have told about certain ladies . {Hay I found you're key's!} .I'm up to a 26fr now , I have been putting off going , as they want to move me up to a 30fr . But my doc doesn't want to just go straight to a 30fr , Oh no he wants me to go to a 28fr first.

I quite enjoy having my urethra stretched but not too much & I have a morbid fear of metal plugs & sounds or anything longer than the length of my erection. At the moment I have two fairly soft silicone cum thru plugs about 2.5" insertable length with external rings to prevent loss inside. One (which I start with) is 8mm at its widest part. This tends to slip out after a while when I'm masturbating so I move up to the 9mm size which stays in place until I ejaculate through it & pull it out after. Sometimes I fantasize about longer or thicker plugs but I think it might stay that way - just fantasy.
