Hello all,
More and more lately,I'm reading about piercings into or very close to the anal sphincter.I am trying to understand the process for keeping the area clean for the week or so needed for the wound to crust and begin to reject e-coli etc in the area.
I imagine the digestive system would need to be completely empty, involving a fast of a few days, then many enemas to completely clean out,but how does the lucky recipient feed for the next week or two or three or more?
Can sufficient nourishment be had from a completely liquid diet for the weeks that would be necessary?I should think that a completely liquid diet would mean no solids would be passed,so that cleanup could be done with water spray?
I find this a particularly intriguing problem, because I've seen quite a few pictures of these piercings in the recent past.
Anybody else given this much thought,I wonder?
Lindsay.
