The story is carried up to the present and demonstrates that many of constipation therapies of the nineteenth and twentieth centuries are continuing into the twenty-first.

It is better to have a digestive system that moves along and is in constant motion- a reverse assembly line of sorts that never stops. But as we all know, most systems don't always keep up with demand and need a little bit of help from time to time. I plead guilty to doing enemas for sexual pleasure but through the decades and watching how my body reacts to them, I know that hitting the reset button every week or two does seem to do me good. I can not help but think that my health is just a little bit better by doing enemas on a regular basis.
