Changing from male physician assistant to female due to retirement

I have my annual urology exam in August this year---it should be interesting since the male PA that I've been seeing for the past 5-6 years is retiring and they've changed me to a female PA. I was seen by the urologist only once--the first time I was examined and when they started me on injections for erectile dysfunction. Since then, I've always seen the same male PA. He had his own way of examining my penis, doing the prostate exam, etc. It should be interesting to see what she does different---if anything. Will she do a more detailed exam? Less detailed? Will I be asked to undress, or will I just drop my pants and undershorts as I've done in the past? It's the same office, so I'm guessing the standard procedure regarding getting undressed won't change. Even though I'm 49 and not 50 yet, he has done a prostate exam every year since I've seen him. I don't know if she'll continue to do one---if she doesn't, I'm going to ask for the exam anyway.

Has anyone else had to switch from male to female or vice versa for an exam?

Every practitioner, regardless of gender, has their own style. As this PA is a urology specialist, expect similar, with an individual style.
