I seem to have read somewhere that we should not use LIQUID ivory soap in an enema solution. does anybody have any input on this?
A good bar soap is hard to get in Scandinavia therefore I go for baby shampoo.
A shampoo — baby or adult — will consist of synthetic surfactants (detergents) and no soap at all. However, a baby shampoo will be pretty mild, and a few people have reported finding them satisfactory for enemas. — Make sure your shampoo doesn’t contain formaldehyde (formalin) — at least in the past, some cheap ones did, and it is not good for you.
Bronners is good but goat soap is mild and effective. Ivory always brings back memories
Bonner's liquid castile soap is great. Guaranteed to give you a thorough cleaning. I have both the regular and peppermint. For me the peppermint is extremely irritating so I have to mix it with the plain soap to have enough soap to have a good enema.
