Falling/slipping off the exam table?

With comments in a previous post of how women sometimes feel their backsides are hanging way off the table during the pelvic exam, has anyone ever slipped or outright fallen off of a table?

Is there any way that part of the exam table could be made more comfortable or supportive, or is it just nature of the beast?

There was a voyeur vision video where the girl slips when she steps off the table. They used to do a scene where they would give her a douche and I think the water dripped on the floor. I used to see it posted in porn bloopers compilations. Your question probably covers real life exams, so not sure if my comment helps or not.

In every pelvic exam I have seen the doctor is very careful to assist the woman in sitting back up, and waiting a little bit for her to regain her composure before leaving the room. Slipping or falling is a real concern and they address it by not leaving until the woman is upright and stable.
