Based upon my experience since October 2011, I'd go with a saline sinus rinse. You can get this product at most any drugstore, or pharmacy section of a grocery store. I prefer the little spray bottle, vs the netti pot.
Tis like an enema, save and except you squirt the water in one nostril and it comes out the other, provided you have breathing capability in both passages. If you do not, spray with a nose spray to open up both passages.
It is my thought that with my rinsing daily, soemtimes twice a day like the last week to ten days (takes 3 minutes a day, and costs 16 cents per day). that the rinse cleans out the pollens and whatever else is in the air, that get into my sinuses, before they have the opportunity to set up housekeeping and create a sinus infection.
I've gone from typically 4 sinus infections per year, to one in 16 months.
If you have luck with the 'enema', please share with me.
Now, go out and make it a gr8 day!
