Have you ever noticed?

When you have a couple of women changing your diapers they usually lose you in their conversation. I was on my bed getting diaper changed by my nurses while they talked to each other about nursing at one of the big hospitals here in Canada. It was if I had disappeared as they yacked away with each other while giving me a very professional diaper changing. They both walked off after completing my diapers and never once quit talking with each other. They left me on the end of my bed freshly diapered and no clothes other than my diapers and plastic pants.

The whole process made me feel very infantile as I clambered up to my feet and pulled on my pajamas bottom and shirt. Nancy came back a few seconds later and was very apologetic for forgetting about me as she helped me on with my house coat. Then it happened for the very first time from Nancy my newest nurse she patted my diapered bottom. Everyone eventually does that! It must be a women's thing to pat diapered bottoms they all do it eventually.

Welcome to my world pall. My nurse and the assistant nurse used to do that all the time. In fact any time im in a hospital and they are changing me (if assistance is needed) i am not even there it seems. And not to mention they never seem to close the door to my room or curtain most of the time at least.

It seems nurses must think if your in diapers what difference does it make if your seen having it changed in public? Umm you lay here and tell me that nurse and see how you feel after that lol.
