While there's no 'fun' of the applicator being pushed in some of the other sensations are nice. Expanding at the first touch of the water and slowly pushing it until it is fully in place. Try both the 'dry' insertion and the 'lubed'. Both are nice and a good seal.

Yes, then I went to work. I had to take it out after about 45 minutes. It became uncomfortable

I recently tried this, I should have read the entire thread first. Surprise when I pushed it in and the liquid leaked up the applicator and when the tampon was soaked more liquid was wicking up the string. It was an interesting feeling though. I guess that's what I get for trying to be cheap and by Rite Aid standard in the plastic applicator.

Although I have never shoved a tampon up my derierre before or after an enema, I can see the benefit of using a pad on some occassions. After an enema you often do not evacuate completely and there may be some residual amount of liquid remaining in your lower bowels. You may be walking around thinking all is well and realize you have to pass gas. It may not be just gas you pass, but some unpleasant liquid as well. Wearing a pad could help from ruining your slacks and your reputation. As Jack Nicholson said in 'The Bucket List'..."Never trust a fart". That is so true.

I use them while trying to hold the enema, the best part of this is when it expands.

I tried a tampon many decades ago. I guess I'll just have to give it another go.

Twice, I wasn't too impressed with it. I'd imagine five or six would be fun though.

I have used tampons to help dry up after a series of enemas. i do this when i will be away from home and not sure how far from a toilet i will be. It does seem to work.

Tampon will work nice for sustaining a feeling and from time to time to work as a retention device. The string rarely pulls out and I have not personally had a problem with that happening. The feeling is different and is an added bonus.

Yes, they help with leaks also. I can hold more in there and not have mess to clean up.

If you want swelling, it is easier to take a tampon and roll it tape side in. Lube well with glycerin or something appropriate and then insert. Swells up nice and acts as a plug.

It is a deformable object so not likely to get stuck.

I find using tampon after taking enemas somewhat interesting. I find it difficult to insert when holding. I think I got wrong kind of tampon. However second attempt succeed.

I've only done a tampon once - it was disappointing. But I'd like to respond to the worriers here about the possibility of the string coming off. The scary stories you read about people having to have objects removed from their rectums in some ghastly impersonal Emergency Room with the staff all sniggering behind your back all concerned objects that were hard, solid and had awkward shapes. I have seen X-Ray pictures of hair styling mousse cans, vibrators, dildos and even a lamp bulb! Then there was the guy who got a concrete enema... Those are NOT good ideas, but a tampon (even a swollen one) is no bigger than a lump of shit! When it's good and ready, your body will eject it, so don't panic if the string comes loose. If you are in a hurry, take another enema!

Most things you can slide up your bum will come out again even if you lose control of them completely - provided you are sensible. Right now, I have two large apples in my colon. One has been there since Thursday. I'm not the least worried, because I only insert rounded things that are not too big and that will rot if they get stuck. Apples are great! Cucumbers are OK, but not wide enough for my liking (the bigger the better within my capacity). Butternut squash is best of all because of the tapered shape.

PLEASE stick to stuff that won't hurt you! Tampons are actually worse than what I have suggested because they DON'T rot. One time I did get a large butternut stuck. I had seventeen days of discomfort and poor sleep, but then it rotted and emerged along with an Olympic Gold Medal dump, urged on by (guess?) a large enema. People can survive for some months if it is only the lower descending colon that is blocked!

I have done tampons after enemas, but i was afraid i'd loose the string, so i added another piece of string to the tampon string. Never lost any of them. The tampon doesn't seem to swell up very much. But i still have fun!

My personal experience is that the tampon must go in be fore the water. If you try adding the tampon once the solution is in the tampon will normally swell up the second it enters and the solution hits it. Then your left with the tampon stuck in the tube.

There is such a thing as an anal tampon in Europe, larger that the conventional products offered but I have yet to find a US outlet.

Sometimes tampons are tough to insert when holding your enema in. I have found that you have to very quickly push the plunger inward before the tampon absorbs any water. Once the tampon gets soaked, it refuses to "launch".....

I have a liquid glycerin soaked "Ultra" (the BIG one) tampon inserted in my ass right now. I bought a few 2 ounce bottle of liquid glycerin online and removed the plastic plunger and poured some of the liquid glycerin where the plunger was removed. I re-inserted the plunger and liberally lubed the outer plastic shell of the tampon with more glycerin for easy insertion. Been in about ten minutes now and feels good. Ill be ready for a nice enema in about 20 minutes.

It's a great, nice little, femine touch up in the rectum. Love it for wife to share and insert them, vaseline lube prevents a sore pull out as the expanding cotton kind of sticks to the anal side wall on the way out. She insists I start buying my own and not using up her supply!

Never had a string problem. I found the Playtex (scented) and Tampax Pearl to work the best.

The cardboard tubes are a problem but if you use plastic and push the plunger quickly I have never had a problem

Tried the playtex Ultra absorbancy tampons this week. Wow... they were great. No problems coming out either. I absoulutely love the full feeling as it expands inside me.

The super Tampax Pearls work well too. I have used them for quite a while.

I only had the misfortune of trying a tampon in my ass as a teenager. I think it was the classic Tampax with the cardboard applicator. Going in was fun. Comming out was a bit scary.

I've only ever used tampex pearl, it comes in bigger sizes than Playtex gentle glide....

My Wife sometimes inserts a Super size tampon in me after She gives me of a enema to cause cramping then i must wear a pair of panties then She says now i know how Women feel once a month,so now when She has Her monthly visitor,so do i in the form of a super sized tampon and i feel it swell with the water.

I wear a large size tampon in my anus for a few days every month whether or not I have been able to take an enema. The knowledge that it is there gives me that extra feminine feeling whenever I think of it.

I like to use tampons when i am flying somewhere. i will insert them after my enema but before i get on the plane. That way, i don't worry about leakage if i can't get to the bathroom in time. i'll even change my tampon during the flight just to be safe.
