Fake or real? If you ask me, playing depends a lot on how you see medfet, it's not really universal. What do I mean? We all have a unique view of medfet. There are those who get turned on by:
1.) THE UNIFORM:seeing nurses in their white uniform and cap, doctors in scrubs with steths, the whole operating room gown, cap, what not
2.) THE INSTRUMENTS: seeing, touching, using speculums, stethoscopes, thermometers, gloves, penlight, syringe, etc.
3.) THE EXAM: living the examination experience, going to the doctor's office, being interviewed, having to take off your clothes, putting a gown on, waiting for the doctor to come in, being inspected, prodded...
4.) THE POWER PLAY: There's simply something about submitting yourself to another person, there's the involvement of trust, control and vulnerability. And the same goes for holding the power, having the authority to make someone willingly undress, assume embarrassing positions and endure uncomfortable and painful procedures.
I'm sure there are other aspects of medfet that I haven't mentioned. My point is, although the different aspects can be dominant on their own, you can't deny the fact that they are integrated to have the complete medfet experience.
So when you ask whether it's fake or real, do you mean, real as in as close to the real medical scenario? or what is fake or real to the person playing? coz it's a fetish, meaning a person does what basically gets him off. so what you may think is a real medical experience to you based on what gets you off may not be real to another medfet player. And as I've said it depends on what aspect of medfet turns you on.
But I think what you're asking is real as in as close to a real medical scenario. Well, for me, the beau and I both like it as realistic as possible, he has gone as far as weld stirrups to his exam table to make it feel more real, as I've used my real, white nurse uniform to enhance the experience. But it's not just the props, you see.
Although, we have slight deviations from what's real for the sake of sexual gratification, as in using a magic wand on me to "test sexual response" which obviously won't be done in a real medical exam, we at least try to stay close to what's real. You see my point? Even the sexual part of it has some connection to the real medical setting. We don't just use the magic wand in a sexual context but try to have some medical explanation for it, as in "testing for response". Or "getting a semen sample", the setting being in a fertility clinic.
But the kind of play we have isn't always for sexual gratification. There are times we play without sexual stimulation involved, just like a real exam. Like a regular physical, he comes in, I interview him, he changes to a gown, I take his vitals, check his eyes, nose, ear, throat, auscultate, abdominal exam, give him a shot, etc.
Others would probably think it boring for us to play without stimulation involved. But then again, that's my point, it's individual preference. What gets us off, is the exam experience and the power play. Especially with me, since in my job as a nurse, I'm used to being the one initiating things, I give patient shots for a living, and do procedures on them. And as Ive said before work and play are different. At work, I do these things as part of my work, there's no malice in that, it's just another meatus to stick a catheter in, or another arm to stick an IV cannula in.
But when I get home and think about it and fantasize then I get turned on. Being the patient in play gives me the chance to feel vulnerable, to not be in charge for a change and that's what gets me off. As to the beau, he likes having power over me, having the authority, being the one to do things to someone who feels vulnerable but is very much willing to feel that way.
