Wheelchair wannabes

Well you learn something new everyday! Somehow I came across a website that caters for a fetish I didnt know existed - people who fantasise about being in a wheelchair or crippled/paraplegic. I found that quite a few of them are also into nappies/diapers and catheters as part of the experience which is where it crosses over into our community. Also found that there are lots of mini blogs featuring diapered girls on Tumblr which I also hadnt come across before.

As a wheelchair user I would say that as with fantasising about being diapered 24/7 'be careful what you wish for...'. With both fetishes there is a world of difference between the fantasy and the reality.

You are so right Amy. I spent a lot of time in a wheelchair and a diaper.

I was lucky enough to get out of the chair but still remain incon.

There were a few times we had fun though. I can remember having races down the hall in the hospital. As it was a military hospital and we would get in a lot of trouble. About the only thing they could do was "ground us" by taking away our chairs. But it never lasted for long. When we were confined to bed it was a lot more work for the staff so they would give us our wheels back.

Lol we used to race our chairs at the rehab. hospital (Casa Colina in Pomona Calif.) till one night one guy blew a corner and broke his leg. we just got him into his bed and covered him up. next mourning the nurses discovered his oddley shaped leg and that nite they locked up all our chairs

Hi Amy. It's amazing what "normal" people will think of as "fun". I admit that W/C races can be a break for life in a facility but as you know well, being in a W/C gets old.

In the final stages of recovery while still in Hospital (197😎. We had competitions between a couple of us for wheelchair wheelies. After my body cast was removed I lived in my chair and got quite good at chasing nurses down the hall with it. One of those nurses I spent 15 years living with till she left me for another kinky woman. Amy has stated something so very true something we hear many times over. Careful what you ask for, fantasy and real life are two different things. Reality can really suck when you no longer have choices.

Hey naughty Elf I can still do a one hand wheelie in my chair (a beer in other hand) my kids used to think me and chair were a weird looking jungle gym and I could balance with all three in me (2,4and 6)

Glad to know I am not the only member who can pull a one handed wheelie, and every kid I have ever met has thought my chair was a weird looking junglejim. You guys are really bringing back the memories too - when I first got my wheelchair in hospital I also had races and had it taken away and got confined to bed for doing so. 😢

Agreed about be careful regarding wishes.

I'd wished to menstruate. Cancer had me bleeding arguably in amounts approaching the light periods a woman on some BC would have- managed it with diapers. And spent time in a wheelchair post surgical. Ive the utmost of RESPECT for folks having whatever desires they have. And respect for folks with medical needs.

To me- it's a set of distinct realms.

Some folks adapt and embrace their life realities. Others embrace their fantasies. There's a few who embrace both.

Life long IBS had me become well familiar with sanitary things to simply not have embarrassments "so often" and cancer just expanded it a bit.

This is not a fetish I've ever heard till now
