These are my standard locations, too, that's why I love your videos so much.
However, for a full exam, I will auscultate my patient in various positions, including sitting up, supine, on her left side, and standing. In the supine position, and especially if I have detected an apical murmur, I will listen along her left side beyond the apex, assessing how far the murmur radiates. Sometimes I have to get quite close to her armpit.
And a good lung exam is also always in order.
