My Crazy Obsession

So I just watched an epside of the show "My Crazy Obsession" about a guy named Stanley who is an adult baby. I'm more of a DL that AB (although I do have certain tendancies) but I didn't feel that the guy gave the best impression of the community. He was grossly overweight and seemed like a complete outcast. I'm not trying to be rude, and I don't this the show portrayed him poorly but it definitely didn't represent the "normal" lives that I think most of us live. Any one else see this show?

Yeah long time ago. That is a old one they just showed you. He got into trouble with a senator and everything else for that show.

I think in general, when Hollywood tries to incorporate anything with fetishes regardless of what they are. Hollywood tries to make the fetishes look like a joke and there by totally miss the mark in how people live their lives. The only example that is coming to mind at the moment is an Episode from "Bones" where they were investigating a murder involving "Ponies."

Yes the documentaries usually dredge up the worst examples of people with a fetish and give the trade a bad name. It could be because more "normal" people with a little kink, that is not the only thing in their life, would not want to appear on TV. The soaps seem to do a better job, here in the UK recently there was in Coronation Street that was a cross-dresser called Marcia who was portrayed very near to life, (much to the delight of my friends who swore it was a portrait of me)
